INTRODUCTION
Planetary preponderance of stress, anxiety and depression accrued massively by 50%
during beginning years of outbreak of Covid-19 virus. Effect of pandemic was widely observed
as there was scarcity of mental health services and a huge number of patients. A potential
increase in mental health conditions was caused due to an increase in stress arising from social
isolation from friends and families. This literature review highlighted the occurrence of mental
health disorders during the pandemic along with its impact on service users. The discussion also
revolves around identifying types and categories of different types of studies for better
understanding of the topic.
