INTRODUCTION Mental health refers to behavioural, cognitive along with emotional wellbeing. It includes how people think, behave and feel. Mental illness can lead to change in individual behaviour which can have high impact on their lifestyle and regular behaviour. This can also have high negative impact on performing different tasks which are associated with their daily life. MAIN BODY Mental health and teenagers Mental health includes emotional, social wellbeing and psychological wellbeing. This is the one which can influence individual about performing task and think in different way. Mental health can be good or bad which can impact individual lifestyle which can lead to create high impact on individual behaviour. There are large number of teenagers who are getting affected through the mental illness. Teenagers are highly exposed to the mental illness which is due to not having proper development. There are larger number of reason which may lead to create negative impact on individual mental health(Iorfino et. al., (2022)). There can be various small reasons which are not even countable as adults. These reason may include getting scolded by elders, not getting chance to dance, not able to meet their friends and others which can have high negative mental health impact on teenagers or young people. There can be also some other reason like any trauma or any abuse or incident which has the potential to change in their behaviour or can be fearful. Every individual should possess good metal health that can be achieved through getting care from childhood that can enable them to take care about the good health and can have high impact on individual behaviour and their lifestyle.

When any individual face stress due to any reason that may lead to create negative health impact on individual. There are various issues related with mental health which can lead to create high impact on individual behaviour and their lifestyle. These mental health issues may includedepression,eatingdisorder,personalitydisorders,post-traumaticstressdisorder, substance abuse disorder, psychotic disorder like schizophrenia. Young people are highly exposed to mental illness. Young people are higher at risk of facing mental illness due to various reasons during their life. They are very emotional at this time and not having proper understanding to handle the situation and learning about how to react at different situation may also lead to create mental health impact(Ridout et. al., (2018)). Reason of mental illness There is various reason of individual bad health which can lead to create high impact on individual health. Mental health includes different reason which lead to create high impact of individual which can lead to create negative health impact on individual. Individual may face bad mental health which can be due to various reasons that may include stress, anxiety, trauma, childhood abuse, any accident, neglect. Young people face various issues in their life which can be family issue, love life problems and others. This can negatively impact individual lifestyle and their behaviour which includes various reasons like getting any trauma, childhood abuse, neglect, discrimination, social isolation, stigma including racism. This is the one which can be there due to facing difficulty on regular basis(Arslan et. al., (2021)). Intervention There are larger number of young people are facing mental health issues which need to take in consideration and ensure about taking care through reducing the impact of mental illness within young people. There is also need to take care about the effectiveness of the reason which can cause and lead to mental health issues. In this, there is need to take some measures which can be effective and allow to take care about the improve mental health(O'Connor et. al., (2021)). There are some of the intervention which can help to deal with the problem of mental health issues that may include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), psychotherapy, trauma therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, medication evaluation and management. There are also some of the intervention strategies which can be associated with reducing mental health illness within young people. This may include social skill learning, meditation, acceptance, commitment, interpersonal psychotherapy, training, resilience, forgiveness programs and many more. Young people may focus on their good physical health and should ensure about taking balanced diet and take regular exercise. This can be helpful in reducing the risk of issues related with mental health. They should also provide some time for entertainment, freedom to play outdoor or indoor. There is also need to ensure about getting better self-care. There is need to learn about dealing with stress and provide peace to mind(Jung et. al., (2020)). Family should take care about diet plan and ensure about proper communication with young people who are facing different physiological changes along with biological changes which have also impact on their mental health. In such situation, there is need to ensure about taking care about their changing behaviour and providing self-counselling and effectively communicating with them can help to get better and effective response to avoid the risk of issues related with mental health. Therapy and medication can also help to young people with mental health illness. These can be effective to reduce the negative health impact and help in dealing with better help to reduce and mange disorder(Fung et. al., (2019)).
CONCLUSION From the above discussion, it can have concluded that there are large number of young people who are facing mental health related issues within their life. This may include depression, anxiety, eating disorder, substance abuse and many more. There can be various reason behind facing mental health issues within young people which should be taken in consideration and need to use different strategy and intervention that can help to get better help in avoid the risk of mental health issue and get over through effectively. In this, there is discussion about reason and cause of mental health issues. There is also discussion about intervention of mental health issues which can help to reduce the cases of mental health issues within young people.
