John is young boy where he is suffering from the mental health issues which can lead to
create high impact on their working which are associated with delivery of better care which
should not provide any negative health impact. John need proper mental health care service
which may also include the healthcare services and counselling which can provide better and
effective health response. In this, essay, there is discussion about the mental health related issues
and help to understand the pathophysiology that can help in getting better healthcare need. In this
essay, there is also discussion about the mental health practices which can help to deliver safe
and effective care (Moreno et. al., (2020)). There is also discussion about the effective
communication skills which can help to get better care and understand the patient needs. This
can essay also includes the administration of medication which can help to delivery better
treatment and enable understand the pharmacology. There is also discussion about the

with complex needs which includes diverse health and social care environments. There is also

Mental health refers to emotional, psychological and social wellbeing which can includes all
the better condition of individual. This includes how individual may feel, thing and act in
different situation (Kang et. al., (2020)). This is the one which can relate with different
understating of the individual to perform any specific work or task with better impact. Here, John
is facing the mental health issues which can cause due to his personal life which specifically
includes the love life where he loves high girlfriend but breakup create the situation of worsening
of his mental health. There is need to get better and effective mental health care and support
which can help to support for improvement in John mental health. There is different type of
mental health which can lead to crate the situation where individual is not able think and behave
effectively. Here, it includes the bipolar affective disorder, depression, eating disorder, emotional
disorder and anxiety disorder. John is facing the emotion issues where John also complaint about
the stepmother, who is trying to control his life. This lead to create the risk of disappointment,

anxiety, depression (Stene-Larsen et. al., (2019)). It also includes the emotional disorder which is
highly affecting John life. This can lead to create high impact on the delivery of self-care. Due to
getting high impact of emotional issues, this lead to create the risk of suicide attempt. When
individual is not able to bear the emotional burden, this can lead to create the risk of not getting
proper quality of life which leads to get disturb them which are associated with taking care their
mental health (Gopalkrishnan, (2018)).
Here, attachment theory is appropriate to explain the situation of John where early
relationship in life have impact on the future relationship. John has bad experience about his
child relationship with his parents which has affected his life. Due to this, he was needed to have
better relationship with someone or say with his girlfriend but due to breakup it leads to high
impact on John’s mental health. Through good relationship with parents can help to get positive
outcomes in adulthood and provide better mental health.
John is facing the emotional disorder which is highly affecting his life where it includes the
brain disorder, stress, diet and family functioning. This can lead to create high impact on the
mental health condition of John where it is effecting mental health.
Depression can also be observed within the case of John where it includes the
neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine within central nervous system. This
can create high impact on the Individual lifestyle and individual may face low self-esteem which
are associated with the motivation to live and perform daily activity to live effectively. Here, in
case of John, there is high depression and due to facing emotional issues all over the life from
childhood, it leads to create low self-motivation to live and leads to create the situation of suicide
(Molin et. al., (2019)).
There is high impact of mental health where John needs better and effective mental
healthcare services which can help to get better and effective response towards improving better
health. Here, it is essential to provide better intervention to John which can help in getting better
improvement in the healthcare and help to get over through the depression and emotional
disorder. there is need to apply some intervention which can be effective and allow healthcare
professional to provide better and effective response towards John care which can help to
improve quality of life along with mental health (Best et. al., (2018)).
There is need to assess John’s mental health where some of the nursing assessment can be
more effective and allow to get better proper information. There is need to establish rapport,

reviewing physical status and baseline vital signs, risk factor that affect patient safety,
performing mental status examination and others. Here, counselling can be more effective
intervention which can have high positive outcome for the John’s mental health. This is the one
which can allow to provide better and effective response toward delivery of high impact on
effective improvement in individual lifestyle. Counselling plays an important role in helping
people with mental health related issues. This can provide better services which are associated
with social, emotional and person and interpersonal problems. Here, John is facing personal and
emotional problem which are facing throughout life from childhood. There is need to take care
about the effective response towards the delivery of better care support that can help to deliver
quality mental health care (Leroux et. al., (2018)). This can enable John to take care of his health
and allow to get better mental health improvement. There are different types of counselling
which includes the humanistic, psychodynamic along with behavioural approaches which are
associated with taking care of the individual heath which are associated with dealing with
emotional and personal problems. This can help to get better care of psychotherapy which are
associated with dealing to emotional issues which John is facing about his family and personal
life about girlfriend breakup. Here, this intervention can have high impact on better care and
support for the John which can help to improve the healthcare services which are associated with
taking care of individual with high impact. Counselling can help in getting deal with the John’s
emotional problem which create the situation of suicide due to not getting better care and
influence the problem which are associated with daily life. This can also include different
pressure where John life quality is not good and due to facing emotional disorder, it leads to
create the situation of depression and further suicide attempt (Roy et. al., (2021)).
Through applying the proper counselling process and through using the talking therapy, it
can enable to understand their needs and help to fulfil can allow to help patient suicide and self-
harm. This may also need to understand and listen to them that can make them feel comfortable
and relaxed. Here, in the counselling process therapist have the main role in which they get all
the information about the patient and their personal life which can help to provide appropriate
therapy which are associated with taking care of good mental health. These all the gathering of
personal and emotional information which are related with taking care of effective response in
the decision making which can help in getting better counselling process through applying
different approaches. This can also enable to deliver better and effective mental healthcare

effective communication skills that can help to get better interaction with the patient. Here,
healthcare professional should ensure about proper interaction which are associated with delivery
of counselling as the talking therapy where effective communication plays an effective role in
delivery of better sharing of information which can be helpful in proper counselling to John
(Melnyk, (2020)).
There are different analytical approaches which are associated with taking care of the mental
health care practice which should take in consideration for better delivery of support to patient.
To delivery better and effective care there is also role of nursing staff who should take care of
John to provide better care and support and ensure about safety of patient from taking any
undesirable step. Here, it is essential to improve the nursing skill which also includes the service
delivery and providing better care and ensure about uptake of medication at the right time with
correct dose. There is also need to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy which comes
under legislation where every individual personal information should not be shared with other
individual without his concern. Here, patient confidentiality should be maintained and should not
be compromised in any situation (Cooley et. al., (2022)). This can be done to provide safety to
patient. There is also need to get ensure that nursing staff should take proper care of individual
which can help in getting better care and ensure about getting proper care where there should not
be any type of case of neglect. Mental health nursing skills should include the respecting
person’s rights, listening, self-awareness, supporting trust and confidence, carrying out
procedures skilfully, reassuring with honesty and explanation. These are some of the mental
health nursing skills which should be used by the nursing staff while delivering their service to
John for his better and improved mental health.
Nursing intervention includes the psychotherapy that are associated with talking therapy
which include different method and information which can be helpful in dealing with delivery of
better and effective response towards the mental healthcare services. Here, talking therapy is
effective response in the case of John who is facing the emotional disorder which leads to create
the situation of depression and further to the suicide attempt. Through using this therapy, it
provides better and effective response and allow variety of mental illness along with emotional
difficulties. It can be helpful in eliminating the symptoms and provide better help and support in

dealing with increasing wellbeing and healing of John (Nevard, (2021)). This can have high
impact on the ensuring about taking care of John mental health which are associated with taking
more impact on mental health. It can be helpful in stress management, self-coping and relapse
prevention that can help in getting better care to individual which are associated with taking
control and provide better mental health through improvement. This can help nursing staff to
delivery safe and effective care which are associated with effective response where nursing staff
should ensure about delivering care services with respect and maintaining dignity.
Nursing staff should provide better care and monitoring John and interacting friendly with
him can be effective to help John in the hospital setting. Here, medication can be also effective
like anti-depressant, sedative and hypnotics can be effective medication that can help John to feel
better. These medications can help John to deal with emotional disorder.
There is also need for to demonstrate the on-going care and evaluation of patient care which
can be effective and allow to provide better and effective response towards the delivery of better
care services which are associate with delivery of response towards the care services (Marotti et.
al., (2020)).
Mental health nursing staff should also need to ensure about taking care of effective delivery
of medication which can help in getting better care. Here, medication can be effective in delivery
of better and effective response towards the mental healthcare services where nursing staff
should take care about the effective response in improving better mental health.
Here, John may also get complex care which can include the mental health care service
counselling and talking therapy which have high positive response towards the delivery of
effective response for improving mental health condition. Here, nursing staff should use the
knowledge and skill which can allow to work professionally and practice ethically to ensure
about safety of patient through maintaining dignity and respect (Hetlevik et. al., (2018)).
Nursing staff should recommend John to exercise and walk which can be helpful in
accessing to physical health. There is also need to make the discharge plan when John gets
physically good and his relative or friend or any guardian is there to provide further care. Here,
community need to behave positive and interact with other can help to get better and positive
towards the life. Community support and help to patient with mental disorder can have better
impact.
