I had a deadline to complete my work by noon. For this, I had to submit the grand application on my boss behalf that was actually out of a town. We all had to work every evening. And my boss was flying so we were unable to communicate with him. I required some that information that only my boss can provide me. Thus, by verifying previous applications and details with departments. I was actually able to put the relevant information all together and also made adequate decision in order to complete my task before the deadline that has been set. And that work was accepted by them in positive way and finally we won the grant and award for this. My colleagues considered plans from two providers which were same for comparable prices so the majority was interested in performing with the more well known of the providers but before my final decision I did some research on both the
companies. Through this I found that the more useful benefits are provided by the lesser company for the same price of coverage. Afterwards, I made a graph that was showing the advantages each provider was offering to our company. The very next I showed my co- workers regarding my findings, there was little conflict at first but later they agreed and realized it was the best option for our budget. This plan then ended up costing a little more but it meant we all didn't have to subscribe any other offering so it saved our money in the long run. Persuading people around my way of thinking is a difficult task, specially if they have already make up their mind.
