INTRODUCTION
Employability is defined as the ability to gain initial employment, maintain it and acquire
new employment if needed. It is all about being capable of keeping fulfilling work by having the
knowledge, skill sets, personal attributes and understanding. This project emphasizes on
experience, skills and knowledge needed by a recent graduate to enter into an area of graduate
employment (Bryant and et. al., 2020). In this report, the selected professional area is human
resource professional as the significance of Human Resource Management is increasing in the
organisations and therefore, provide better job and growth opportunities for new employment.
The project covers general trends that impact on human resource profession and information
about the skills, experience and knowledge needed in it. A job advertisement is also provided in
the appendices of the report.
MAIN BODY
Human Resource Management Profession
Human resources referred as a profession which consistently ranks high on the list of best
careers. This area has high growth potential and the ability to impact people as well as overall
organisation in a meaningful way. Individuals choosing human resource careers begin by earning
a degree of an associate or a certificate. For the management positions in the organisation,
graduates with bachelor's degree may also be eligible. The main responsibility of Human
Resource specialist is to recruit, screen, interview and hire employees in the organisation
(DeCenzo, Robbins, and Verhulst, 2016). Apart from this, they also handle the training,
employee relations, compensation, payroll etc. The tend to focus on single area like training and
recruiting. In addition to this, they hire and refer qualified candidates, process paperwork,
consult with workforce to determine needs and preferred qualifications, perform background
check, conduct employee orientation, interview applicants regarding their education, skills and
experience etc. All these are the daily tasks of a human resource specialist. There is a huge scope
and growth in Human Resource profession which is the main reason that it stands out as a best
career choice. This report aims to analyse the general trends that will impact on Human Resource
Profession and the skills, knowledge and experience required in the profession for getting good
employment. In order to fulfil the aim, primary and secondary research will conduct on the

developed objectives (Diez, Bussin, and Lee, 2019). The objectives associated with this study are
as follows:

In this part, the data regarding the general trends in human resource professional and the
skills and expertise required in it are collected and analysed assistance of different sources. For
gathering the information, primary and secondary research is performed in which the primary
gather data is gathered through using interview method and the secondary data is gathered
through making use of books, articles and journals (Mcdonnell, and Sikander, 2017). This assist
in ginning in depth information about the human resource profession along with its general
trends and experience, skills and knowledge needed in the profession.

In this section, the second hand data is collected by making use of different articles and
journals and view point of authors are compared. The secondary research associated with the
area of study is provided below:
General trends which will impact on Human Resource profession:
As per the opinions presented by Zachary Totah, (2020), the general trends associated with
human resource profession involve effective recruitment and selection of workers, retain them
and provide them with regular training and development opportunities in order to improve their
satisfaction level and keep them retain in the organisation for longer term. However, with the
technological advancement as well as upsurge in artificial intelligence has brought many changes
in the trend of human resource profession. In this profession, the latest trends which have
