INTRODUCTION
In organisation, it is essential to focus on development of leadership and management skills
so that it is easy to achieve goals in appropriate manner. In this changing time period, it is becoming
crucial to be well aware about the use of effective strategies so that development is done in correct
way. Main aim of this report is to examine the importance of leadership and management skills in
organisation (Below, 2020). Both leadership and management are importance as these concepts
helps in accessing to success as well as growth in easier way. NHS, which is also known as
National Health Service located in United Kingdom. It is a publicly funded healthcare system of
UK. This organisation provides health and social service to people and community within United
Kingdom. NHS provides services to public and people with proper considerations. It is also known
as a second world largest single payer healthcare after Brazilian Sistema Unico Saude. NHS
provides all healthcare services to English residents and people from other region of UK.
Organisation also has many competitors like Imagine, Which PLM, MedAlies etc. They also have
many volunteers and employees across the globe. This report consists of evaluation of leadership
and management of enterprise and impact if leadership as well as management and business
performance metrics.

Evaluate the leadership and management of the organization
Leadership is defined as process of influencing others decision to get the work done.
Management refers to administration of enterprise of different organisations. This is essential to
focus on development of these processes as they help in achieving of goals in appropriate manner.
In entity, both these concepts are necessary to be adopted as they assist in accessing to competitive
benefits. In relation of NHS, it is seen that leadership and leaders of firm are responsible for
enhancing the goodwill of a firm. Both these concepts are important as they results in adapting of
changes in business in most effective manner. Furthermore, entity is required to carry out the
market research analysis so that it is easy to make decisions about improving performance level in
proper manner (Car, 2017).
Leadership of firm is flexible and focus towards development of health care services at
wider approach. It has been also reported that they leaders of NHS are facing many challenges like
financial and operational pressure and excessive regulatory demands. This was also examined that
leaders of NHS themselves are facing poor behaviour and leadership which is affecting their
working activities and roles in entity. Moreover, with high vacancy available in National Health
