outsourcing. Present study assists to find impact of globalisation on trade across the national
boundaries to develop goods and services in different areas of the world. The research study, it
can be stated that there are wide scope exists which ascertained to interrelate functions and
operations that increase positive advantages on the globalisation activities. For the studies which
need to explore the cause and effect type of relationship between different variables causal
design is used. It is more suitable for scientific studies rather than qualitative studies. This study
is of qualitative type and various themes are used to understand the functional and conceptual
aspects of study subject. This research involves use of interpretivism philosophy in which
qualitative methods are used to understand the social constructs which influences the behaviour
and observations. It can be appearing bias but in order to get more precise data it is one of the
effective approach. For this study 10 managers of Microsoft are chosen as study samples so that
they can provide in depth information in relation with the research subject.

increasing in economic growth, solve government issues and poverty problems in systematic
manner. In this consideration, trade barriers are also removed with concentrate on desired level
of effectiveness. There are several benefits implemented that helps to promote education, trade,
technology, investment, competition, etc. It increases employment, culture and organisation
structure which is assisting on focusing on the development organisational development.

In order to ensure that the goals and objectives are being accomplished within the
organisation, it needs to be stated that international trade is continuously being expanded with
development of the business in software sector operations. In this regard, present study assists to
find impact of globalisation on trade across the national boundaries to develop goods and
services in different areas of the world. Furthermore, this also helps to analysis trading activities
that assists to deal in different goods and services. In international boundaries, globalisation
helps to focus on economic growth which impact positive and develop more trade that resulting

and legal risk involved in the present study. This is because, in the present study positive

profits and experience. Business risk is influenced by several factors which includes sales

design is used so that various phenomenons and theories related to the research can be explained
and analysed. One of the advantage of using exploratory design in the study is that this type of
study design helps to unpin the areas which can influence the study outcomes and are important
from the study perspective.

Research type:
The research studies can be of qualitative or quantitative type. The qualitative studies are
based upon theories or non-statistical data. This type of studies emphasis on observations and
particular situations which are associated with the research (McCusker and Gunaydin, 2015).
Contrary to this type of research quantitative research studies are based upon numerical facts for
establishing the relation between different research aspects. This study is of qualitative type and
various themes are used to understand the functional and conceptual aspects of study subject.
Qualitative research is mainly expectorating method of research which has been used to achieve
or gain understanding of underlying opinion and reason and motivations.
Research philosophy
Research philosophies such as interpretivism, realism and positivism demonstrate and
includes the methods through which data can be obtained and analysed. The positivism
philosophy is based upon the knowledge gained from the natural phenomenons and events. Thus,
it is preferred for scientific and statistical studies (Saunders and et.al., 2015). This research
involves use of interpretivism philosophy in which qualitative methods are used to understand
the social constructs which influences the behaviour and observations. It helps to understand
various research aspects by critically analysing different perspectives of the issue.
Research approach:
A variety of research approaches such as inductive, deductive and abductive provides the
pathway for executing the study systematically. The deductive approach is primarily used for
quantitative studies so that on the basis of statistical conclusions and analysis results can be
analysed. However, in this study inductive approach in used in which suitable research is carried
out to make validate theories and assumptions on the basis of well known conclusions (Teherani
and et,al., 2015). The use of inductive approach in the study helps to evaluate generalise
concepts instead of specific theories which are limited to only a single organisation. Thus, by
using inductive approach study can be made more broad and exploratory.
Sampling:
The selection of large population for the research studies make process complex and time
consuming. Thus, for making the research simpler and manageable small size of population is

chosen for the study purpose. This process is known as sampling (Eriksson and Kovalainen,
2015). Sampling is classified as probability and non-probability sampling. In this study
probability purposive type of non-probability sampling is used. In this type of sampling approach
participants have unequal probability of getting selected for the study. Though it can be
appearing bias but in order to get more precise data it is one of the effective approach. For this
study 10 managers of Microsoft are chosen as study samples so that they can provide in depth
information in relation with the research subject.
Data collection
The collection of the reliable and accurate data is one of the elementary step to determine
the research findings. The data collection methods are of two types primary and secondary. The
primary data collection methods involves the evaluation of data from the fresh and real world
sources such as questionnaire, interviews and surveys. On the other hand secondary data sources
consist of using existing data resources or the related work of other researchers (Cleary, Horsfall
and Hayter, 2014). In this study both type of data collection methods are used. For the primary
data collection a questionnaire is used so that the real world situations can be analysed and
unbiased results can be obtained. The use of secondary data sources helps to critically evaluate
and support the findings with the previous studies so that their validity can be enhanced.
Data analysis
Data analysis techniques helps to interpret the collected data so that research findings can
be evaluated. Data analysis techniques depends upon the research type. For the qualitative
studies thematic analysis can be used so that interpretation of different themes can help to
develop necessary theories (Quinlan and et.al., 2019). Contrary to this in quantitative type of
research statistical tools are used in which statistical measurements such as mean, standard
deviations and mode are used to understand the relation pattern between research variables. In
this study qualitative data is used so themes are developed which helps to easily understand the
various aspects of study variables.
Ethical considerations
For enhancing the reliability and validity of the research ethical aspects must also be
considered in the study. The researcher must inform the scope and details of the study to
participants so that they can freely provide their consent for the study. In order to obtain validate

and reliable study results the consent of the study participants is important. However, the
samples must be given authority to quit the study at instant of time. It is the responsibility of the
researcher to assure that study participants are not harmed during the study and they must be
allowed to withdraw from the study (Simonsohn, Nelson and Simmons, 2017). During the entire
course of research the dignity and privacy of the individuals must be respected. It must be
assured that participants are comfortable and their confidentiality is maintained.
DATA COLLECTION AND DATA ANALYSIS
Data collection and analysis techniques will be effective and adequate in relation with
making adequate operational analysis. However, this technique swill be effective in relation with
detailing the outcomes as per precise operational outcomes. In the present research project where
researchers have considered qualitative technique for analysing the research outcomes on which
they have make a questionnaire analysis as per the primary research technique. Moreover, there
on which 10 managers from Microsoft have been asked various questions which is based on
analysing their impacts on the operational motives and goals relevant with the operational
process. Moreover, choosing the primary research analysis have been defining the adequate
analysis over the issues which are being faced by the managers at Microsoft due to cross border
operations.

consumer base, revenue generation, area for operations as well as effective economic
development.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommendations
On the basis of above research project on which making the adequate ascertainment of
operational analysis over the globalisation impacts the operational growth of software industry.
Thus, there have been various factors that have been determined which affected the operational
approaches of the software industry operating on the global segmentation. On the basis of such
factors there have been several suggestions which have been awarded to the professionals of
Microsoft by the researcher in relation with making the drastic increment in the operational
activities.
 There must be effective promotional activities which would enable the business in terms of
creating the unique market identity.
 Improving the product line as per the consumer requirement and satisfaction which would
reflect in better revenue generation.
 Analysing the domestic and region consumer preferences will be adequate for the business
in relation with making the effective analysis over the gains form the operations.
 As per research findings on which it can be said that, there are several operational aspects
which are required to be improved such as marketing of products and services as well as
effective development of business strategies to cop-up with challenges.

On the other side, it can be said that the aim of project is for analysing the impact of global
trading operations in software business on which all the objectives have been achieved by
researchers. Thus, it has been determined that there have been impacts of several factors
positively on the business such as there will be large number of international investors to the
business operations which in turn will be valuable and effective in retaining the adequate
success.
Research reflection
As per analysing the impacts of globalisation on the cross-border trade practices which I
have learnt various things that, there will be adequate operations which in turn was effective in
drafting the validate analysis over the issue. From this research project there have been various
benefits which have I learnt that operating business on global segmentation have been effective
in retaining the adequate gains.
Research limitations
As per performing this research operations on which there have been various barriers and
obstacles which were incurred due to inappropriate operational management in the entire
process. Issues which are relevant with the inappropriate time management, resources available
for study and determination of effective sources to be studied and analysed. If the research has
proper time and resources to be examined than it would be effective in bringing the better
outcomes through this research. There has been requirement of enough time and resources which
would have impact of representing the more accurate and correct reasons for the research issues.
Future area of research
On the basis of used techniques and methodologies for performing the research study in the
corrective manner on which it can be said that, there can be use of different alternative method
that would be effective in bringing corrective outcomes. Research will use quantitative analysis
techniques in the upcoming research study. There can be use of SPSS analysis which would be
accurate and reliable in terms of amending the outcomes and making a validate analysis over the
outcomes.
