Microsoft developed a growing set of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform services, along with all
the components that are required to build a virtual network with an intention to provide services
and applications to various users as per their needs and demands. Microsoft Azure offers
addition of cloud capabilities in the existing network of the users. Apart from the cloud
capabilities Azure also offers various other services to cater to the computing and networking
needs of the customers with the help of infrastructure driven templates like IaaS and PaaS etc.
These infrastructures ensure secure access to the data hosted in any Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Virtual machine service:
Virtual machine services are a set of services that enables a user to emulate a computer that is
running on various operating systems like Windows or Linux and act as a host for any program
which is required to use it as an interface. This service can be commissioned in a short time
(sometimes in a few minutes) with the help of some ready-made templates provided by
Microsoft. These virtual machines created by a user replicates the user applications and services
at par with the own data center of the user, at a juncture where he is using a Microsoft Azure
from a remote location.
SQL database services
Microsoft Azure Cloud platform facilitates a Relational (Structured) database where one
database can be managed and expanded to unlimited databases. This feature saves the overhead
cost of investing in hardware and software that is implied when an organization hosts multiple
servers.
Application services
