Sportable is a three-day event that would allow youth with disabilities from around Australia to participate in cricket. The initiative aims to instill confidence and courage in the youth with disability and make them feel like sportsmen. The event will take place once in June of every year in Brisbane, Queensland. Cricket Australia is the name of the organization responsible for monitoring sports and their progress across the country. The initiative addresses the issue of disability, which is highly prevalent in Australia. The goal of this initiative is to involve individuals in the age group between 12 and 18 years. The program is innovative and different as it focuses on young people as the participants. The partners for the program are Cricket ground Brisbane, Community Center of Brisbane, and the Government of Queensland. The program will be monitored and evaluated using personal interviews and personality testing.
