INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is organizational strategy that provides workers or person with real
life work experience where they apply and implement technical skills, along with this it helps to
develop employability more than before (Brewster and Söderström, 2017). It encompasses the
diversity of non formal, informal and formal arrangements including work placement, informal
learning and apprenticeships on job. It helps to provide career awareness, career planning,
exploration, and also helps people attain competencies such as employability abilities and
positive work attitudes.The present report is based on learning and reflective presentation, it
explains future role, what professional and personal training require for that job. This study also
justifies how persons will take responsibility of own learning at workplace, personal and
professional development and learning needs for this job role and also clarifies plan to evaluate
how workers motivation will improved. Furthermore, it explains suggestions applicable to solve
mentioned problems of in workplace and also define ways for monitoring progress of project.
TASK 1
Personal and professional training required for future career role
Human resource manager is my future career role, I want to become a successful HR
manager in multinational company how have wide supply chain and are leading firm in its
sector. I had personal interest in HRM job role, I think that it is quite interesting and highly
responsible job.
To work effectively in future career role that is human resource manager in organization I
require some personal as well as professional training that help me to enhance my skills and
abilities to work.
Types of professional training-
Technical training-
I require this type of training for my future career role that is HRM, with the help of its
method I will be able to manage my work on technology and solve any issue related to this on
time for short term period till the technical team will come (Stewart and Brown, 2019). It helps
to teach new skills needed to implement, operate and maintain HR information software or other
application in my workplace efficiently.
Team building training-

Group building training is highly required for this job role as it helps to established level
of faith and trust as well as synchronicity between team individuals for maximizing efficiency.
While doing job in future as HRM I have to build strong team how are able to work productively
and have some creativity. Team building training is quite beneficial for me as it support to
increase the ability of my group members.
Skills training-
This professional training is referred to activity given to person so as to perform its
specific job such as HRM. For example, as human resource manager I would be specifically
taught to employees and handle software. Skills are set of capabilities needed to develop for
future career role.
Personal training-
Communication skills-
To become human resource manager I will be able to express my self clearly, both in
written and oral communication. I required good communication skills as personal training that
helps to build strong connection to others in workplace.
Decision making skills-
I will be able to take better decision in context of employee well fare, so I needed
decision-making ability to fulfil needs of future career role as human resource manager.
Negotiation skill-
I also required negotiation training for myself that helps to become HR manager in the
future, with the help this capability I will analyse workplace issue and provide better directions
to my team.
Intend to take accountabilities of learning at workplace
I will take accountability of my own learning at workplace through study staff manual, it
is one of the best method to learn more about the expectations, policies and rules of business
which they required to excepted by all its workers while doing job with them. By studying
employee manual I will gain in depth information about company and work according to its
expectations in workplace.
Interviewing with senior staff members is another way to learn and develop knowledge
about job role and other essential think in workplace. Senior staff have greater knowledge about

business they know how to work and behave, with set of good skills. With the helps of
consulting with my seniors I will be able to perform highly productive.
Feedback from colleagues and superior is good procedure that helps to know about my
performance and what I need to improve in my self.
I will study dedicated magazines that helps to provide greater knowledge and data about
specific job role and able to cater methods for solving issues at evidence based practices.

Personal and professional development & learning needs for planned future career role
Personal learning and development-
I chose my future career role in company that is human resource manager, for which I
had professional and personal learning & development.
In order to solve the issues of employees in workplace communication skill is highly
needed in myself while doing job as HRM. I am able to talk properly with my team members and
communicate with other as well to determine any problems which they face during work. I deal
with many people day out and day in, listening to their problems whether work related or not.
Through interactions, I had to gain confidence and trust of workers, thereby improving
interrelationships in work area. Good written and oral communication skills is needs for human
resource manager role.
HRM job role required bunch of good skills and abilities, that helps to manage overall
performance of staff. I had excellent writing skills needs for my future job role as human
resource manager. For example, during my work I need to produce and designs policy manual
and releases memos for benefit of workers which require for need of writing ability.
Human resource entails many functions associated but not limited to training, individual
development plans, recruitment and employee relations. I was able to recognize the needs of
training and performance appraisals that help to enhance employees productivity in workplace.
Personally I was able to learn how to take appropriate decision with the help of analysing
current situation and demand of specific things that support staff for performing better than
before. Decision making skills is need for HRM job because they deal with conflict situations
daily related to employees work, in which manager take decision for betterment. Recognizing the
best talent is not something I can easily learn, it requires intuition, experience and strategy, this is
something that I must have.

Furthermore, I have personal learning and development abilities needs for HRM role in
the future. During playing role as human resource manager I will have empathetic skills that
helps to assure my understand where employees are coming from before I make any decision.
Staff just want someone who listen their ideas and understand feeling without placing any
differences in workplace.
Professional development and learning-
Along with this, human resource manager job necessitate is much wider than any other
role, person must had experience and knowledge in employment law and other things to done
their work effectively. I had knowledge in making employee relations, compensation, employee
engagement and organizational planning.
Development of superior workforce or team is one of the professional skill that I have
and use while doing future job as human resource manager (Reiche and et.al., 2016). At that time
when I become HRM, I will assure that talented applicants was hired for superior workforce,
specially those who are able to perform effectively and have the capability to work more
additionally in workload.
In addition to this, I was able to develop employee oriented organization culture that
emphasizes continuous development and improvement of workers, high performance and key
employee retention.
I also had controlling power of activities and plan that made for employees benefits, with
the help of monitoring and controlling skills I will be able to measure progress of staff and its
efforts to complete work on time.

Undertaken Activities-
In order to improve staff motivation while playing role as human resource manager in
future I will apply and implement different strategies or activities that helps to achieve their goal
as well as provide better results. Employee motivation is very essential in business as it helps to
build strong team of skilled candidates.

Recognizing great work-

With the help of rewarding nature and work performance of workers HR manager can
motivate its group and all the staff members perfectly. Rewarding behaviour I want to see among
my workforce reinforces my organization goals and boost engagement rather than before.
Recognizing and rewarding work assure employees that company is giving importance to their
workers, candidates feel proud to see how its firm efforts impact on its performance and this will
strengthens notion that staff will contribute in valued. Rewarding great performance is more
about giving gifts, it helps to enhance the productivity. Senior recognition and praise is also very
precious seek its employees out in workplace and then thank all of them personally for hard
work, this acknowledges activity, improve motivation & builds allegiance. In addition to this, by
adopting this plan or activity employees will serve its best services to customers.
Celebrate outcomes-
Employee motivation is important because it permits management to meet specific
business goal's, without motivated workplace, firms cannot be able to placed in very risky
position (Cascio, 2015). To improve employee motivation in organization, human resource
manager take appropriate action that is celebration of results after workload period. When
management do not allow people to enjoy the victory, it affects on all the efforts made by staff
they feel less important for company and start switching their jobs. So to reduce this negativity
and improve the workplace environment celebration is must. Part of what makes setting
measurable and little goals so essential is that it cater plenty of benefits to celebrate group hard
work. It does not mean that manager will give standing ovation to its staff who made it to
perform on time, but its just crucial to let each one known how much and exactly each of
employees contribution move business forward that helps to motivate workers.
Communicate effectively-
Most of the time in companies due to poor communication in workplace, affects made on
motivational level of staff that decrease its performance and working abilities. But with the
effective communication activity I will be able to understand feeling and emotion of staff and
make them able to work towards achieving common goals. Face to face communication and
interaction methods will use to improve employee motivation. Its helps to let employee know
manager and management see them as person, face to face interaction support to encourage
individuals to share their impressions and ideas. When senior communicate with staff honestly
and listen what they are trying to say about its problems, it is quite beneficial for company to

motivate workers, they will assure that management is always ready to listened and concern
without judgement.
Be transparent-
Work relationships is built on faith and trust, defaulting to transparency is the best
method to motivate and encourage employees. I will undertake this way because it helps to
create atmosphere of trust around workplace. Along with this transparency of work and decision
will helps to assure that everyone is performing with common info.

Recommend suitable solutions to solve issues in workplace
Project-
I will conduct a project in which I have to determine the current issues and provide some
possible suggestions to company that helps to solve problems, and create positive work
environment at workplace effectively. Human resource manager is accountable to evaluate
workplace conflict, in context of current case company is facing difficult time due to poor
communication and staff underperforming which compromises on products quality, losing loyal
consumers and high employee turnover to competitors. All the above issues made negative
impact on business growth and success in market place, high employee turnover decrease the
productivity of company rather than before. Without motivated and skilled labour they cannot be
able to satisfy consumers and lose all of them one by one which is not suitable for position as
well as reputation of firm. Competitors will take the advantage of current problems occurring in
business that give negative outcomes as low market share (Haddock-Millar, Sanyal and Müller-
Camen, 2016). Poor communication bring many challenges in front of management in which

they deal with suitable and appropriate methods or strategies. It also leads to group cohesion, less
quality, wasted time, damaged relationships, and increase high turnover rates. While analysing
workplace and business environment I will evaluate some major problems that effect company
productivity. For example, some staff members is not going so well, they perform poorly and do
not complete their task on time, they are careless and irresponsible.
Recommendation to solve above mentioned problems in workplace-
Staff poor performance is one issue that major concern of company to solve it as soon as
possible for providing better consumers services and increasing productivity. Organization is
recommended to focus on feedback because it helps to acquire greater knowledge about
employee performance. It suggested being clear and direct in communication, human resource
manager will work with its team members and provide all the essential guidance to boost
individuals performance better than before. HR manager must cater monthly or weekly feedback
to their workers, so it helps to known them what they need to be doing in order to achieve goals
and business objectives.
Organization is facing with existing staff who are not meeting expectations of business
and provide poor performance, so to solve this problem business must take smart action, they
offer people retraining and adopt different resource to support everyone improves the same.

In addition to this, organization is also facing another issues due to poor and ineffective
communication that effects on quality of services and products the most. It impacts on customers

difficult time due to this, it is recommended manager and senior staff to communicate
effectively with its new and existing applicants in workplace that helps to boost staff morale and
make all of them capable to contribute in workload period.

Measure the progress of project
Project monitoring and measuring is very essential while doing job in any company to get
better outcomes. It is also essential in making project management and organizational
management plan work to meet specific objective, here the project is made to solve problems
facing by firm that impact on profitability and consumers base (Harrington, Warren and Rayner,
2015). With the helps of monitoring and evaluation of work growth management will identify
efficient way to control resources and continually assess project status, so it assures them about
the success of efforts and hard work. The main of evaluation and monitoring progress of project
is to track outputs and implementation of actions systematically as it helps to evaluate
effectiveness of actions taken by human resource manager.
Key performance indicator is the best tool will use to monitor growth of project
effectively. It is the components of plan that show what manager want to achieve by when. They
are outcome and quantifiable based statements management will use to measure goals and
objectives on track or not. According to this method manager will start with basic thing, they will
understand the reason for first behind occurrence of issue, after that they have to plan on solving
problems and who can act on this data. It must be an interactive procedure that include feedbacks
from department manager and heads, from analysts and others. As this fact finding mission
unfolds, person will acquire good understanding of which issue need to be solved and plan need
to be measure with KPI dashboard.
Furthermore, with help of scheduling and making time frame management will monitor
project growth and benefits of actions taken to solve problem mentioned above. Success and
progress of action is often determined by kept to original timelines. Project manager know the
importance of measuring effectiveness of work, it easier for them to evaluate task by continually
measure progress as they go forward. Manager will update its project weekly, they evaluate
growth formally and effectively at end of phase or as part of monthly plan to project board.
By checking the stages of project, manager will measure its growth and success easily
and effectively without any issues, they can determine with helps of this process requirement of
some additional things that present good results. When focusing how to track growth of work,
responsible person will never underestimate significant of checking in, they have quick informal
conversation at starting of each work session that established trust and faith between project

leader and employees. It also helps to distinguish key comparison between staff feeling cared
about versus thoughts judged.
Through creating the deadlines, staff will also evaluate progress of work and measure
success that is beneficial for business. Manager always check the deadline of each activity and
then speed up productivity to achieve good results. When work is complete according to time
frame and each stage pass effectively, that show the growth of project which is going beyond and
beyond expectations in positive manner.

Reflective report covering all the above aspects
I have learned so many things in task one, that is the requirement of appropriate personal
and professional training for human resource manager (Brewster, 2017). In task 1 mention
above, I was able to experience the benefits of learning at workplace and ways that helps to
perform better than before in future career role. Nothing going wrong at the movement when I
understand how to take accountability of own learning with many sources that is quite good
thing because personal experience give a lot of new things to learn and develop among
themselves.
In task 2, I was experience learning and development of personal and professional things
that is highly needed for specific future career role as Human resource manager. The whole
experience is quite good for me as it helps to enhance my knowledge rather than before. With the
help of identifying personal and professional development and learning in my self I experience
which thing I need to improve more.
In task 3 and 4, I experience something different, because of environment and issues
facing by company due to poor staff performance and communicate that impact on goods or
services quality in negative manner and decrease work productivity. But along with this, with the
help of taking appropriate activities and actions undertaken by me as human resource manager I
will motivate my staff members, build team with experience people. I set the title of my project,
chose suitable actions in order to solve issues and enhance performance of employees in
workplace. Furthermore, in task 4 I set fixed time duration for each and every activity which is
essential to know the progress of work and effectiveness of action plan. I experience high work
pressure during this time but take one step ahead and do my best, my team-mates contribute to
achieve goals and objectives.

At last in task 5, I have greater experience of how to play role as human resource
manager associated with essential skills and requirement that helps me to become successful
HRM. In this stage, I had experience how to evaluate and monitor success as well as growth of
project which is important to know for knowing the results.
CONCLUSION
From above it has been concluded that different types of professional and personal
training is needed for human resource manager job role in future that helps to made skilled
HRM, training is the best way to enhance the current skills and develop more essential abilities.
Communication, transparency, clear goals established and other actions has been taken to
provide overall business positive outcomes. Recognizing great, work-Celebrate outcomes,
Communicate effectively and many other activities taken to motivate staff and improve staff
motivational rate rather than before. Furthermore, it has been summarized that key performance
indicator and other activities taken to monitor and measure the growth of project. There are many
suggestions placed to solve issues in workplace.
