INTRODUCTION
Motivation is one of the significant factor that helps the employees to get the reliable
ability to complete the task in highly efficient manner. In the current era, having the motivation
technique in the organization is crucial in respect to uplift their morale, competencies, etc. to
accomplish the organizational roles and responsibilities. The current study is based on the Jack
stores which is opened by TESCO in respect to overcome the prevailing competition in the
industry. The study will pay attention on analysing the different motivational theories that can
help particular store objective and satisfy TESCO management.

be achieved. The set of theories that are available for motivating its employees, enterprise can
pay attention on Mas-low's hierarchical needs, hertzberg's two factor, McClelland's of needs,
Vroom's theory of expectancy, Alderfer's ERG theory, etc (Motivation Theories, 2022).
Organization can get the various form of the benefits by applying these theories in turn attaining
the objective of understanding needs of employees, taking reliable for boosting outcomes etc can

motivational theories that involves Maslow's need hierarchy, Herzberg's motivational hygiene
and McClelland's theory of needs along with the advantages and disadvantages. This indicates
that it will provide assistance to Jack discount store and TESCO to get appropriate management
of its employees via inclining their motivation to give full potential in turn effective functioning
to overcome competition can become possible.
