INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is an effective process which is considered with the free movement of
people, companies and government worldwide and lead to the interconnectedness of the national
economies. Therefore, in order to sustain in this competitive world, it is crucial for the business
enterprises to attract and retain the prospective candidates so as to achieve higher profitability
and productivity. Chosen organisation for the assignment is Vestey group which is the world
largest food provider firm that offers wide variety of products so as to meet the demand of
different customer segments. This project will focus in the functions of HR which are
recruitment, selection and training (ajda, 2015). Therefore, it is the responsibility of HR manager
within the organisation to conduct these functions for enchant large no. of clients and attains
maximum growth and success of the business organisation. Therefore, this HR helps in
increasing productivity and thereby introducing labour turnover within the organisation. This
project will carry out the aims and objectives and describes the project management plan. It also
produces a work breakdown structure and Gantt Chart to illustrate the period of wind up of
project. It also analyses the data in a proper manner so as to draw valid conclusions and
recommendations.
TASK 1
P1:
According to Audra Bianca, (2019). Human Resource Management is considered with
the process of attracting, short-listing and retaining the prospective clients within the
organisation for a long time period. Therefore, HRM plays an important role within the
organisation discussed as follows. It assists in maintaining employee’s relations at the
workforces as reduces issues and conflicts and thereby creates harmonious environment at the
workplace. It increases the skills and capabilities of the employees by providing them with
proper training and developmental facilities which would assist them to work effectively and
meet the global requirements. Moreover, it helps the organisation to attract qualified workforce
by properly conducting the selection test and therefore maintain growth and success of
organisation. Therefore, it will help the business organisations to meet the international standards
of HRM as by retaining the talent workforce and supply T&D to Personnel it will assist the
organisation towards fulfil global requirements (Ariely, 2012).

Aim- “How does the large multinational organisations can enhance their recruitment,
selection and training of their personnel in order to meet the global requirements”. A case study
on Vestey group. In present scenario most of the organisation are performing their operations at
multinational level. Therefore, Vestey group is focusing on achieving their goal in specified
period. So they aim to increase their performance through increasing capability of employee's.
Objectives-
To implement internal as well as external recruitment methods to improve the fairness to
meet international standards of HRM.
To evaluate both internal and external training methods to increase capabilities of
workforce to assist Vestey group in meeting global needs.
To identify the problems or challenges that may come in the process of implementing HR
practices to meet international requirements.
To determine practices through which recruitment, selection and training process at
Vestey group can be developed. The main aim to complete their work is to raise standard
at global level.
P2:
Projection is an activity which needs to be completed and accomplished in pre-
determined time frame. Executing and completing the project activities within a time frame has
high importance as it helps the manager to clear focus on the goals and objectives of the
company by working on the proper plan towards attaining strategic goals. Therefore, it also assist
the manager to analyse the data and draw valid conclusions and recommendations and necessary
changes can be made so as perform business activities in systematic way. Various essential
feature of project management plan includes-
Scope- It is considered as opportunity which the researcher or the project will get while
performing the research activities. From the perspective of the researcher, it has a wide
scope as it will enhance the knowledge of the investigator towards the importance and the
role of HR within the organisation. Therefore, it enhances the scope of the investigator to
meet the project requirements in a better manner (Burns, 2017).
Cost- It is a value of money that has been used up in delivering a project or a service in a
proper manner. In order to carry out company’s project to conduct recruitment, selection
and training programs £ 46,000 will be required to incur. On the other hand, estimated

Quality- It is the degree to which the project meets the obligation of the manager to
apply project action in a systematic way. This assist the researcher to collect and
determine data using qualitative methods of data collection by conducting surveys so as
to get quality data and fulfils the research activities in a proper manner.
