cost management biases can arise in the project. Cost allocation in a project is essential to maintain the workflow of the overall process. The total cost incurred to effectively complete research will be£150. For this project, the project manager has to ensure a budget to conduct the project effectively. The cost of this project can include employeeremuneration, equipmentcost, datacollectionand analyzation cost and so on. The cost is determined according to the needs and the requirements of the project. LO2 P4Carryingoutsmall-scaleresearchbyapplyingqualitativeand quantitative research method Research means systematic research and study of sources or resources or items in order to identify the truth or draw conclusions. In reality, it is all about finding the truth using scientific methods through experiment or analysis. Primary Research The research that is conducted directly by the researcher is mainly defined as primary research. This kind of research is related to the collection of raw data and assessing the perception of the people regarding the current situation (Lab, 2019). In this particular project, primary research is essential as the data collected needs to be accurate and relative. Secondary Research Secondary research involves a review, a summary of existing research and/or synthesis. In comparisontosecondaryresearch, primaryresearchrequiresdatacollectionwhile secondary research utilizes primary sources of research as a source of information for the study. For this research project, only the relevant data will be collected from trusted secondary sources like a journal, books, and business report. Research data The purpose of conducting a research is to collect relevant data and through it reaching the desired conclusion. The research data can be either quantitative or qualitative. The quantitative data are the numerical data that are essential to compare different situations basedonthegraphicalillustration.Onthecontrary, qualitativedataisrelatedto understanding perspectives, opinions and other non-measurable data from the participants. Quantitative Research QuantitativeResearchischaracterizedbymeansofquantifiabledataobtainedand numerical, computing, or computational methods as a formal analysis of phenomena. In
general, quantitative consumer research uses a methodology based on surveys to obtain input on the ideas and opinions of a community (Nielsen, 2011). To ensure that reliable and valid findings are obtained, appropriate sample size is used. This research method is essential for the creation of data table related to research. Collected data — such as market size, population data and consumer preferences — provide significant information for business decision-making. For this research project, a survey questionnaire will be created through which the research information will be gathered. The random sampling method is effective here as the aim of the research is to understand the concept of equality and diversity in the workplace. The qualitative research will help me in understand the importance of the equality and diversity in the workplace for the employees. The result of my findings can help the organizations to ensure equality in the organization and also they will be able to understand better the employee’s necessities. Qualitative Research This is more about ' why ' than ' what ' of social phenomena and relies on the direct experiences people experience as agents of meaning in their everyday lives. A purposeful sample is a desirable sample based on the population characteristics and the purpose of the analysis(QuestionPro,2019).Purposesamplingisdistinctfromthesamplingfor convenience and is also called judgmental, selective, or subjective. Interviews may be described as a qualitative research technique that includes "intensive communicationwith a small number of participants to discuss their views on a particular concept, programme, or situation. The use of interview has the advantage of understanding the current perspectives and objectives can be fulfilled. Sampling and sample size Sampling process refers to the process of selecting a number of people from a larger population with an aim to analyze their preference and characteristics. Sampling is essential
for research purposes as it is not possible to reach a large number of people in a certain time and budget range (Investopedia, 2019). For this research 30 personnel will be selected and for the sampling method non-random sampling will be used. This process will ensure the probability to assess relevant information and thus the goals and objectives can be reached. Survey Questionnaire Form The questionnaire survey was planned for research purposes and objectives. However, the survey questionnaire is an easy means of collecting information on the situation. P6 Communicating appropriate recommendations The value of equality and diversity was never greater as corporations sought to attract, maintainanddeliverthemosteligibleindividualstotheircustomers.Theideaof demonstrating the diversity of workers makes great economic and ethical sense (Elford, 2012). Organizations will try to recruit people from all genders, ages and races while creating a diverse group of people. Nonetheless, there should be no disparity in physical properties. It helps staff to place them on the table through a range of ideas and skills. Research is carried out to give the company a recommendation on the issue of equal treatment. In this phase, the research result must also be in the form of a report in order for the details about the subject to be addressed and the approaches pursued by the businesses to deal with the issue. Thefollowing recommendationscan beeffective in maintainingan optimal working environment within the organization: Greggs Plc can provide equal opportunities to all the employees rather than focusing on the sexual orientation of the employees. They must ensure same opportunities for all their employees without taking into consideration their sexual orientation. This is a factor which does not affect their productivity. The organization can lose quality people if they do not respect each person orientation. The organisation can promote equality and diversity supported policies such as the equality act 2007 to promote equality and diversity in the workplace. The law must be respected and the employees as well. Even if the law protect them, the organization have the same responsibility, they must ensure the equality inside their workplace. Another recommendation for Greggs Plc, is that they can ensure equal opportunity in the area of leader selection and promotion system to promote equality and diversity in the organisation. bring new ideas for the organization. The respondands agree that the diversity is important inside the organization and thy agree that the organization should give opportunities for all the people. Greggs Plc can conduct a lunch program so that the employees can interact more in order to demote discrimination and promote the function of equality and diversity. This only an idée for making the employees to interact and fins out more things about each other, this may be a good idea because they can become friends and work in a friendly environment. According to my findings, the organizational structure and equality in the workplace are connected. 70% of my respondents agree that the organisational structure is very important for maintain and ensuring the equality inside the organization. Greggs Plc can ensure policies to make the workplace collaborative in order to promote equality and diversity in the workplace. Once the organization is promoting equality and diversity, the employees are aware of the policies and the discrimination is reduced.
LO4 P7Reflectingonthevalueofresearchingandownlearningand performance in this research. The importance of equality and diversity in the workplace is crucial in case of maintaining balance. If all workers are in the same category, companies can’t continue to grow. Diversity means that the company is responsive and far more competitive to new ideas and technologies. Men and women must participate in order to improve the organization's efficiency (Marshall E-Learning, 2019). The participation of all members of the company should enhance organizational efficiency. Research on strategies to address issues of equality and diversity is therefore very important to businesses. The project is carried out with proper legal conduct, and only the most relevant information is assessed through the research. Goals and objectives for carrying out the research project were developed maintaining efficiency. In addition, a project plan was drawn up with various aspects. Careful data collection and evaluation tracking were performed. The financial approach is taken strictly into account. The quantitative and qualitative approach to this analysis is used with primary and secondary information to increase precision. I found important insights from the research undertaking, including the study methods, structured work process and many other urgent topics. I also learned in the analysis of how analytical instruments can be used and how knowledge about the job through software can be evaluated. I have developed a barnstorming approach by analyzing the selection of appropriate information and by reviewing this information to improve my analytical strength. This program is very positive to me both in terms of individual and academic work. ItwasastruggleformeinthetimemanagementandIneededsupportin implementingtime management strategies. I gained insights into the viability of a research project through the research project. I am going to develop my time management skills and hope it will be more effective in the future.
Conclusion Within today's increasingly complicated environment, companies work with greater data, shorter business periods and more customers. The developments in today's era have made it possible for companies to use people properly. In the development strategy, equal opportunities anddiversity aretherefore relevant. This revolutionizes theoutputof businesses. This work has been very much informed of the market impact of equality and diversity.
