1 Project Description (3 marks)
1.1Opportunity/Problem (1 mark)
The paper mainly reflects on the construction of shelter for homeless youth among the developing countries. It is found
that youths are forced to leave their homes due to financial crisis. The economic crisis within the developing countries creates
a number of issues due to which the youths faces a lot of challenges in finding a job in order to maintain their livelihood due to
high levels of unemployment. Due to family pressure of getting a settled life or finding a well salaried job, the youths are
pressurized to live their homes and move to some other countries. In order to resolve this, issues, it is quite important to
construct proper shelter for the homeless youths. In addition to this, the stakeholders who will be associated with the
construction work include project manager, construction manager, supervisor, contractor, sub-contractor, financial manager
as well as resource manager. The shelter that is constructed for the homeless helps in providing proper housing as well as
supportive services to the homeless youth.
1.2Proposed Project (1 mark)
It is found that the problem of homelessness can be resolved by constructing a shelter for the homeless youth. The
construction of the shelter not only provides home but also helps in providing other supporting services to the homeless youth
(Slesnick et al., 2016). It is found that the construction project must be completed within 1 year by utilizing budget of around
$500,000 such that proper quality materials are used. If the project managers are unable to meet the time, budget as well as
project quality then a number of problems will arise that can obstruct the project progress. The construction of the shelter will
be helpful in creating proper positive social impact by giving shelter to the homeless youth.

engagement as well as leadership. It is found that this specific project is mainly linked with

order to determine the research problem and provided proper solution that not only resolve
the issues but also provides an opportunity to the youth for brining their life on track.

This specific unit is helpful in providing proper skills that are considered to be very much
necessary for changing the entire work environment. It is found that with the help of this
specific unit, one can determine, formulate as well as solve problems.
2 Alternative (1 mark)
It is found that in order to resolve this issue, a charity must also be constructed that will provide shelter as well as other
types of help to the homeless youth so that they do not face any type of issues and challenges. The charity will also help the
youth in transforming their lives and assist in placing them in the right path so that they can achieve their future goals
successfully (Adkins et al., 2017).
