INTRODUCTION
Public health policy describes the law, actions, regulations and decision implemented by
the the government with in the society to promote public well-being and provides quality of life.
The main focus of health policy is to achieve the desired goals of public health wellness and
reduce the risk of health issues among the public. The national alcohol strategies 2019-2028
policy is a framework to prevent and reduce alcohol consumption among the public. This policy
implement the law, action and decision for reducing the harmful effects due to the alcohol. This
strategy is helps in reducing the risk of public health and continuous analysing the people
around the area where the consumption rate is high. This strategy takes possible action for
improving the health concern among the public. The national alcohol strategies provides the
healthcare strategies by which people can overcome with their diseases. Additionally, this report
covers an application of kingdom's multiple stream theory which includes problem, policy and
political stream. Description of Goals, objectives, strategies and vision statement and lastly,
recommendation of improvement for future policy development (Chang & et. al., (2022)).
MAIN BODY
Policy is the guidelines which implement the decision and action to the society to achieve
the positive outcomes of policies. The national alcohol strategy 2019-2028 puts efforts and
provide support to minimise alcohol related harms because Australian society rate is raising high
due to the more consumption of alcohol among the people and adults. Due to the consumption of
more alcohol adults having negative effects on their mental and physical health (Cauchi & et. al.,
(2021)).
Search strategy of policy
The Australian government has released a new strategy to reduce consumption of alcohol
among the Australian society. The chosen health policy is the national alcohol strategy2019-2028
and area of interest is adults. This policy deliver a community programme, resources and
services which can helps in identifying the high consumption rate and target to minimize the
alcohol harmful effects on adults health. This strategy provides the relevant information of
ongoing development and promotion of of the policy among the adults of Australian community.
According to the search almost 80% of adults are consuming the alcohol and increases the risk of
health issues which also increases the healthcare costs(Ironside, J. (2022)). In Australian society,
