Purpose of report
This report consist of the various things about national trust UK the non-profit
organization. It has been mentioned in the report that this organization is working for the
preservation of natural resources historical monuments and wildlife. Has been observed that the
organization has been found 18th century. It has expanded its geographical structure among
many parts of UK. The national trust has more than 25000 haters of land. The report says that the
trust has its main Moto as conservation of wildlife and historical monuments. It also works on
the awareness of Heritage homes and ancient history to the new generation. The trust has a good
collection of archaeological facts and extinct things. This beautiful collection has indeed an asset
for the world. Report also depict that this National trust is working towards protection of national
heritage and wildlife including natural resources. The report also throws a light on the financial
status of trust. This organization is getting funds from various sources. They have collected
millions of dollars as donations and rewards for their participation in the Heritage open day
program.
Introduction to organization:-
National trust UK the non-profit organization was found on 12th January 1895 the
founder was Octavia hill sir Robert hunter and Hardwick Rawnsley. This charity is one of the
oldest charities which aims in the caring of historic properties and other beautiful areas in the
country. Their motto is to protect historic places natural beauties and natural places as a place to
view for the future generation. It strongly supports the protection of lakes landscapes. This trust
has around 500 historic houses, gardens, parks, castles and industrial and archaeological
monuments. With the course of time new things were added to the trust such as souvenir shops,
tea rooms, activity centers, concert places and educational rooms. The trust it is a well renowned
for holding the historical background it already has large portion of Lake District. The trust holds
near about 25000 hectares of land which includes 47 industrial monuments, 200 historic houses,
9 route lighthouses, 41 castles and chapels 56 villages 25 mediaeval baron study and public
houses. The trust holds you geographical area which can be analyzed by its expansion. National

trust organization has divided England into nine regions that is Devon and Conwell, East
midlands, east of England, south east, north-west midlands, wessex, Yorkshire and northeast
themes and solent. These regions hold the places like Cambridge shire Bedfordshire Derbyshire
Rutland Surrey Manchester greater London Hampshire and Somerset. As the trust can be said as
a complete nature lover so it is band stag hunting within its premises in the year 1997. In 21st
century the trust hasn't its country houses namely Victorian Gothic mention, in Somerset Seaton
Delavan hall in Northumberland. In the year 2005 the trust announced its new head office in in
Swinton Wiltshire. With this new building the number of staff members has also increased in the
trust. The trust was having use staff of 4000 seasonal workers 14000 staff members apart from
this they have 8 to 10 executive. The trust almost spends hundred thousand UK dollar in a year
as a salary of these staff members.
Aims and objectives of the organization:-
The national trust has founded in order to preserve the natural resources and historical
monuments along the countryside. The idea behind establishment set an organization is purely
related to the benefits of nature. The founders and the members of this trust was indeed a true
nature lover and history conserving people. The aims and objective of the trust depicting its
vision and mission are described as follows:-
To preserve old monuments and historical places- Old monuments and historical places
needs extra care to keep it in a proper state so that trust is working towards its
maintenance.
To conserve natural places- These days people are getting busier and distracted from
nature. They forgetting the importance of nature. The vision of this organization is
preserving natural resources like Lakes Mountains and rivers.
To develop a beautiful natural and healthy atmosphere- A beautiful and healthy body
always needed by everyone. This healthy and natural atmosphere is needed. So the
people of the organization are aiming at providing beautiful natural atmosphere to the
people for the benefits of their health.
To make young generation aware of ancient culture- Today's generation doesn't know
much about the ancient period and its culture. So this Trust is aiming to spread the
knowledge of ancient monuments and their historical background.
