1.Nature refers to the innate or genetic qualities that affect the IQ, memory and decision making of a person or a kid. Nurture on the other hand talks about the influences of the external environment or the immediate environment where he or she is living. One of the best examples of nature versus nurture debate can be seen in the case of “language acquisition capacities of a subject.” Nurture is required to add new words and methods in the knowledge profile of a learner. Nature, on the other hand, refers to the spontaneity of a person is using the words. The elements of nurture introduce a kid to new words and methods about the grammar. However, the finer acts like the development of a communication style are dependent on nature or the genetic disposition(Gans, 2019). 2.Atypical developments are an output of some deficiencies in the components that are missing in the process of typical development; an observer can find connectivity between them. For instance, attention Deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may have its roots in the neglect of the parents. The norms of typical development refer to the development of sociability in the kids, the neglect of the parents’ acts as a causative factor in the atypical development of the kid(Schlozman, 2019). 3.A child’s growth is dependent upon five major factors under the headings of cognitive, emotional, physical, social and educational growth. To monitor the development of a child in each category we are required to set different sets of benchmarks. Various theories of child development are an outcome of the observations made by the experts while collecting notes in each department. All the theories are important to measure the multi-faceted growth of a child.
