Summary
As per the numerous researches conducted so far, a growing importance is being
noticed upon the network layout, IP subnetting, routing protocols and access
restrictions using ACL. First the report is to mention the network requirements
that have been obtained from information gathered from site visit. The network
design is then to be given and described. Next the IP addressing is to be made
and explained followed by the routing protocol used and the ACL commands.
Next the configuration commands for the routers and switches are to be shown
before sharing details about the hosts, access points and servers. Then the
report is to present the timelines and budgeting of the project before ending with
conclusions.

Introduction
The following report studies the growing importance that is being noticed
from network layout, IP subnetting, routing protocols and access restrictions
using ACL. The report proposes network configuration of Touchstream
International. The report begins by mentioning the network requirements that
have been obtained from information gathered from site visit. The network
design is then given and described. Next the IP addressing is made and
explained followed by the routing protocol used and the ACL commands. Next
the configuration commands for the routers and switches are shown before
sharing details about the hosts, access points and servers. Then the report
presents the timelines and budgeting of the project before ending with
conclusions.
Summary of Requirements
Network infrastructure of the organization Touchstream International must be
consisting of the different network segments such as Touchstream headquarters
as well as various football grounds where the recordings are being made.
The Touchstream network is to exist in the form of a wired as well as wireless
network thereby being able to connect both fixed and portable devices.
Each of these network segments are supposed to have wireless connectivity for
the supported devices that are being used like smartphones in workplaces, smart
tablets for configuring servers or wireless equipment used for recording.
As the recording stations of at various football grounds are connected to the
headquarters over the Internet, a range of security measures need to be
implemented.
In order to facilitate effective network for the wireless devices, the wireless
access point are supposed to have network routing functionalities so that custom
subnets can be created for the wireless network.
The headquarters should contain a server dedicated to facilitating the DNS
services for the office while other servers should be present in the recording
stations and the data centre.

The network diagram shown above presents the network design of
Touchstream International. According to this logical network design, it can be
noted how the organization streams live events for their customers over an open
network through the ISP using OTT (Over-The-Top) media. All the resources
required for the streaming process to occur are housed in the data centre
located at the headquarters. The routing configuration applied in each location
ensure that the devices of these network segments can communicate with one
another.
