Introduction to the organisation
The report is prepared for the purpose of understanding the organisational behaviours
and also analyse the dynamics of the business environment where the new dental clinic will
be established or set up in Australia. To set up a new dental clinic, not only the management
and leadership are essential, but also focus shall be on the analysis of various roles of
management. The theories of management can also be applied in different contexts of the
organisation, thereby, can ensure efficiency use of resources along with the methodology
outlining the various research methods associated with the project involving the
establishment of the dental clinic in Australia (Drori, Höllerer & Walgenbach, 2013).
The Melbourne Smile Care will be established in Sydney, Australia so as to deliver a
wide range dental care services and even manage services like implant ology, cosmetic
dentistry, aesthetics, restorative dentistry and even other dental procedures aimed at fulfilling
the dental care needs and preferences of people to keep them satisfied. The dental clinic
consists of several staffs and a range of specialists from various departments such as
restorative dentistry general dentistry and aesthetic and cosmetic industry, which can help in
delivering extensive dental care services and ensure that the needs and requirements of clients
are met properly.
Distinguish between leadership and management
While the leadership concept is mainly associated with the driving of employee
behaviours and managing appraisal of performances of employees, the leaders are also
associated with the roles of engaging people through inspiration, encouragement and
motivation. The leaders know to get the work done by employees by remaining aware of the
high functioning team, keep them motivated ad allow them to work together as an unit (Perry,

Wood & Fernie, 2015). The motivation and higher level of engagement during decision
making, which could make them feel valued by the organisation too.
On the other hand, the management concepts are associated with the management of
human resources, managing cultures and diversity within the workplace so as to maintain
smooth business functioning. The major differences lie in the fact that the leaders have the
subordinates or employees who follow them whereas the management is associated with the
roles and responsibility to get the team on board and accomplish the tasks properly by
managing shared vision, mission and goals (Hull, Su & Vaculin, 2013). But, both these
aspects are interconnected, as this could not only allow the company to create a workforce
competent and skilled enough to handle tasks properly but also would create diversity and
establish a good culture, needed to establish a new business successfully.
Methodology outlining the research methods
The methodology of the research project is based on the qualitative data and
information gathered in the form of responses from the managers of the organisation. The
non-probability sampling method or technique has been taken into consideration because of
the effectiveness in setting a convenient time for the managers to become a part of the
interview session (Silverman, 2016). Moreover, the managers of the company to be set up
