Introduction
Technology is improving every day and there are new innovations of science every
day which are helping people in making their life easier. These technologies also help the
organization in gaining a competitive advantage in the market. In this discussion, new
technologies that can adapt and will have a competitive advantage in the market will be
discussed.
AgWare, Inc.
AgWare Inc. was started in the year 1990 and currently company is associated with
the operational factor which provides rural appraiser a complete support suite. It consists of
two separate integrated products such as AgWare Data Log (Comparable Sales Data log) and
(Appraisal Report Processor) AgWare Click Forms. This software’s help organization to
maintain their database and they can also share files. Further, it also helps in filling forms of
different kinds.
AgWare Inc. have done analysis of Porter’s five factors which will help company in
gaining competitive advantage
a) Competitive rivalry of AgWare Inc. in market is generally high forces.
b) Bargaining power of customers of the company is considered to be low force.
c) Bargaining power with suppliers is considered to be medium force.
d) Since it is a start-up performance and availability of substitutes are weak
comparatively.
e) Company has to give more emphasis of development of brand this will help them
in gaining more competitive advantage.

New Technologies
Company should install new technologies so that they can take advantage of competitive
market. Some of the new technologies are as follows:
1. Distributed Cloud
The distributed cloud system is the updated version of cloud computing. This software
will distribute public cloud services to different locations and providers can also have control
over those activities. This software is also helpful in knowing updates from the government.
The main advantage of this software is that it will provide public cloud service rather than
private cloud service (Dunn, 2019).
This technology can create competitive advantage for the company as public cloud is the
updated version and it will provide several benefits such as it helps in shifting expenses of
company from capital to operational; it also helps to maintain low infrastructure cost in
organization; It is also more elastic then private cloud; hacking problems can also be ignored
as this software is prepared for all such activities. It will be useful for AgWare also as this
company is filling different types of forms and for that regular update is important this
technology will provide that. The company has many confidential details of people and to
secure that they need software that can protect them from getting data leaked (McKendrick ,
2013).
2. Edge Computing
Edge computing is the process of distributed computing that brings computation and data
storage together. This technology is helpful in improving time response and it also saves from
bandwidth. This type of computing also reduces the chances of latency and transmission
costs. Accuracy of data can also be provided from this technology.

AgWare can also adopt this technology company can experience significant growth in the
market. The organization wants technology that can process capabilities that can transform
the experience of the customers. And this technology will be helpful for the company in
gaining a competitive advantage. This technology can handle all the important functions of
the organization. This will store, analyse and processed data and it can even act upon it. This
technology will also be helpful in storing information of people so that they can fill form
easily. This is portable software that can work on fixed networks (Deloitte, 2020).
3. Big Data
Big data refers to the problems that are related to processing and storing different types of
data. In an organization, there are different types of data that need to be processed in the same
period of time but many organizations are facing this problem. This problem may affect
customers of the business. AgWare Inc. is also involved in form filling, storing data and
many more. There is a need for this software as there are times when different types of data
have to process at the same time.
If company will adopt this technology it will solve its problem of processing multiple
data. It will also have an impact on customers, product research and marketing initiatives. If
customer feels that their data is secure ad it is less time-consuming customers will be
attracted towards this company. Marketing will be done by satisfied customers. And if there

This technology uses statistical and linguistic technology. It helps in improving data
management and the performance of the organization. This technology is also helpful in data
analysis and data sharing and is connected to business intelligence. Further, it is also helpful
in showing connected ability to transform big data into smaller and more useable units.

the software company in achieving growth and success. Plans are policies of the organization
are also formed according to the technology and market condition. Recommendation is also

developed economy and competition is very high in the market. So companies have to adopt
those technologies that are new and provide them with the latest updates so that companies
can be aware of government rules and regulations as well. Product development is mainly
dependent on this factor. Technology will also help companies in maintaining data and
secrecy of confidential data can also be maintained.
