INTRODUCTIONIn this modern era, there are several types of diseases and health issues are arising. It canalso affect individual's life style in an adverse manner. Therefore, it is essential for health careassociations to promote awareness among society as they can live healthy lifestyle. Healthpromotion is a process which provide information to people about how to improve their health. Itmoves beyond a focus on people attitudes towards vast array of ecological and social inventions(Brobeck and et. al., 2011). NHS (national health service) is a selected organisation in thispresent assignment; it is a public funded organisation which works for improving the livingstandard of people. Apart from this, the report will be described different effects of socio-economic impacts on health. Readers will also come to know different barriers which areassessed on healthcare. In order to reduce health issues, health professionals have to use severaltheories. Furthermore, a healthcare promotion campaign will be developed for accomplishmentof goals and objectives. TASK 11.1 Effects of socio-economic influences on health In this over dynamic environment, there are several socio-economic factors which canaffect which puts a huge impact on health in positive and negative manner. Therefore, it isfundamental for health care professionals to recognise these factors and make approaches for thesame. There are defined several factors that can influence healthcare environment, such as-increasing age of population, income level of people, changing lifestyle, genetic disposition.However social impact also involves diet, using of tobacco, high cholesterol, physical activity,increasing the amount of drug and alcohol between youngsters etc. can also affect people healthand generate various diseases (Aboumatar and et. al., 2012). Due to work pressure, individualsare not able to give proper time physical activities; this can affect their mental health also, stresslevel contribute in dangerous diseases, i.e. Cancer. Apart from this, due to lack of income level individuals cannot spend huge money onhealth activities as they would not go for regular check ups from doctors or other consultants.Lower education status also put a huge impact on healthcare activities. There are severalenvironmental conditions also increases health inequalities; it identifies future health of people.1

However, due to lack of awareness also raised the amount of childhood death. Another riskfactor is behaviour aspects of adulthood, it increases among socio-economic groups. In UK, young generation is tend towards tobacco use which affect people's health anddevelop various diseases i.e. Cancer in small age groups (Allegranzi, Sax and Pittet, 2013). Forexample- as per the survey it is analysed that approx 45% men and 33% women of high socialclass are involved in smokers whereas 14% respectively in lowest social class. At last, 17% ofdeaths are arises heart disease among society. Therefore, it is fundamental for Michael Marmotto analyses these factors while formulating healthcare promotional campaign. 1.3 Barriers to accessing healthcareAs a public health and social care promoter, Michael Marmot needs to identifies severalbarriers which can hamper the health promotion strategies and policies. There are differentbarriers which prevents people in order to access health and social care, that are described asunder: - Healthcare cultural – Due to improper cultural of health and social care organisation,there are various barriers can be occurred and affect the interest of people. For example-if clients needs to fulfils strict terms and conditions while taking an appointment withdoctor then people would not prefer to come such places. Lack of proper information – Sometime, services providers cannot take properinformation from clients because of lack of communication between both parties (Sievertand et. al., 2013). It also increases poor treatments and disputes in mind set of serviceproviders. Financial instability – Financial condition of people can also affect their health careactivities and practices. It results they cannot spend huge amount on health check ups andtreatments. It is one of the most imperative barriers which should assess in healthcare. 1.2 Relevance of government sources on inequalities in health In healthcare environment, health inequalities refer systematic differences in health ofsocial groups. In UK, there are several government sources and legal authorities are highlyinvolved in collect and review more and more information about inequalities in health. Itcontributes in determining priorities sectors for future policy evolvement in order to diminishes2
