This presentation aims to encourage young people in the UK, specifically in Derby, to quit smoking. The overall outcome is to use a nudge campaign to raise awareness among young people about the negative impact of smoking on their quality of life. Counseling and smoking therapy will be utilized to help young people quit smoking. The objectives include reducing the number of smokers within 6 months, ensuring that young people start avoiding smoking within a month, reducing access to smoking products for minors, increasing awareness of the harmful effects of smoking within a month, and assessing the reduction in the number of smokers within 6 months. The presentation also discusses motivators, counseling sessions, resources, and the cognitive behavioral theory for quitting smoking.
