RESEARCH PURPOSE/PROBLEM
The major problem in the article is to identify the factor due to which the Australian experience
of nurse preparedness for evidence-based practices is demolished. In this, the nurse perceptions
are not considered to originate or formulate a plan which is based on the current knowledge and
attitude which is towards evidence-based practices. In this, the low skill of nurses and lack of
knowledge and attitudes among pre- and post-registration nurses in New South Wales can create
an issue in the delivery of health. The identified issues in this article are about nurses’
preparedness for evidence-based practices which is interrupted due to the experience of
Australian nurses within the pre- and post-registration. During the registration of nurses, they
face various issues among the pre- and post-registration. So, they require a smooth conduction
program that provides access to the number of nurses with a prepared chapter of registration
which is based in Australia (Clemson and et. al., 2018).
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Lucie Rychetnik, (2009) Post-registration nursing students have better
knowledge due to their experience and practicing evidence-based practices in their healthcare
services. Whereas, final year nursing students and graduates are eligible but due to not having
experience in area of evidence based practices they are not allowed to practice EBP. In this, it
require better understanding and knowledge which can help to make them eligible for delivering
evidence-based practices. Pre and post registration nurses have the same type of learning but due
to variation in experiences creates the difference between them. Pre-registration nurses and post-
registration nurses can also be eligible by providing better knowledge and skill. This can be
effective and allow for the practice of evidence-based practices for the newly graduates.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK
The theoretical framework in this article is used to state the particular perspective which is based
on the various lenses which include psychological theory, social theories, organizational theories,
and economic theories which help to define the concept and the phenomena. Whereas, this
article, is stated the issues which are related to the Australian experience of nurses and their
knowledge and attitudes towards evidence-based practice among pre- and post-registration
nurses. As per this, the applied theoretical framework is psychological and sociological. As per

this, organization theories are also implemented because due to the error and the organizational
factors the issues or the problem is arisen (Hamill and et. al., 2018).
AIMS OR OBJECTIVE
The main aim of the article is to introduce relevance and evidence-based data to identify the
current knowledge and attitudes which is available towards the evidence-based practice among
the pre and post-registration nurses in New South Wales, Australia. In this, the educational and
clinical strategies are measured with the proper interpretation which shows the evidence into
clinical care factors which continue reports of low level of understanding and skills in the area.
As per this, the study is used to introduce knowledge and attitude towards the nurses which is
helpful to provide evidence-based services for the practice (Kilicli and et. al., 2019).
ETHICAL CONSIDERATION
Pre registration nurses and post registration have the same type of knowledge. There is
difference in knowledge due to their experience. Pre registration nurse has no experience
whereas post registration nurses have longer experience which enables them to more eligible for
evidence-based practice. Pre registration nurses should also be allowed to perform their
evidence-based practices which should allow them to practice evidence-based practices. Through
providing some extra guidance and knowledge, this can be highly effective and should consider
pre registration nurse. This can also help to provide quality of care. Newly graduates should also
provide an opportunity to post registration nurses can deliver. This can provide equal opportunity
to new graduate to practice delivery of quality of care to every patient equally and effectively.
OPERATIONAL DEFINITIONS
Evidence-based practices refer to the integration of healthcare practics that have
successful evidence about their effectiveness. These practices have evidence through which
clinical practices are done. It provides a health benefit to the patient where healthcare
professionals deliver a new type of care or treatment which is evidence-based and can provide a
health benefit to the patient. Through operational evidence-based practices, healthcare
professionals can able to deliver effective health care services that can improve patient health.
Evidence-based practices are highly effective and can be provided by a registered nurse in order
to deliver effective care services for improvement in patient health.

METHODOLOGY
In this, the experimental and survey strategies are used to complete the particular research in
which a survey was returned by 126 post-registration and 257 final year nursing students which
shows the response rate of 21% in the registration of nurses. Moreover, both pre and post-
registration nurses’ attitudes towards evidence-based practices. The perception of evidence-based
practices was evaluated through a self-complete, anonymous postal survey which is distributed to
677 clinical nurses and 1134 final year nursing students during the year 2002 to 2003 (Olson and
et. al., 2018).
DATA ANALYSIS/RESULTS
In this, the measure of the survey is identified in a quantitative manner which shows that some of
the post-registration and final year nursing students show their responses by returning. In this,
both pre- and post-registration nurses have an attitude towards evidence-based practices. In this,
the pre-registration of nurses used to express reliable confidence in the evidence-based practice
skills but they are self-rated knowledge and they have a low is a skill to the moderate for the both
of group (Sultana and et. al., 2020).
DISCUSSION
Evidence-based practices have a high impact on delivering effective healthcare services
to the patient. This is highly beneficial to adopt new treatment and care procedure to treat
individual. In this, Pre-registration nurses and post registration nurses both are eligible to
practices EBP when there is proper guidance and sharing of information. Newly graduates can
also be eligible for evidence-based practices when proper training and knowledge are provided.
It can be effective and allow pre and post registered nurses to provide better care services to the
patient for their improved health. This also allows healthcare professionals to treat their patient
more efficiently with better outcomes.
RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE
Evidence-based practices have their high importance in health care practices. This is
effective and provides new opportunity for a healthcare professional to treat their patients
effectively. It has wider scope to provide healthcare treatment and care to patient with better
response. Pre registration nurses should practice this by getting better knowledge and training for
delivering quality of care to their patient. Post registration nurses have enough experience to

practice EBP. This is effective and provides better outcome regarding patient health. It also
allows healthcare professionals and nursing staff the opportunity to learn new delivery of care
practices that can help patient in their health improvement. Evidence-based practices have an
important role that allows healthcare professionals to treat their patient with new techniques.
This is new and effective and have enough evidence about their success. There is very less
chance of side effect or any complications while practicing evidence-based practice. Healthcare
professionals should have enough information and knowledge that can provide healthcare
benefits to patients for improving health.
