INTRODUCTION
• Nursing management is described as an individual's ability to
inspire, motivate, and drive others. This is regarded as a crucial
aspect of the nurse, and many settings as well as discipline must
be maintained when beginning the job function. In order to
manage the many services supplied to patients, nurses must
build dedication as well as collaboration (Relji, Pajnkihar, and
Fekonja, 2019).

RESEARCH AIM
Research Aim:
To evaluate the challenges faced by nurses at the time of COVID 19
in surgical ward.

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
Research Objectives:
• To evaluate impact on nurses due to COVID 19
• To analyze different leadership styles used by nurses during COVID 19
• To identify the impact on mental health of nurses during COVID 19

Reflection is utilized in clinical education to support and grow healthcare
workers as well as manage their own initiative (Bijani, et.al, 2021). The
value of reflection is effectively handled and promoted through the use of
various methodologies and technologies.

Research strategy
 The research strategy is the plan for performing a particular
research study. Different types of research strategies include action
oriented research, case study, quantitative survey, systematic
literature review, qualitative interview etc. Out of these main
forms and types of the research strategy use of the literature
review would be made within current project to analysis and
evaluation of pre-existing set of data that ensures better creation of
knowledge to meet the set objectives.

Collection of data
 Data collection is defined as the method through which researcher can
gather data. There are two ways through which data can be gathered.
These including primary method and secondary method out of which use
of only secondary source of data has been made within current project.
The secondary data is gathered through using books, articles and journals
published previously.

 Only those article and journals would be selected for current project that
are having proper copyrights and name of author as well as publication
date to ensure the authenticity and reliability of facts. Further, selection of
articles written between 2015-2022 would only be selected to mitigate the
risk of obsolete or out dated data.

CONCLUSION
• From the above research, leadership is critical in the nursing profession.
Based on the aforementioned data, leadership has been highlighted as a
crucial determinant in health and social care. It helps seize control from
individuals who do not have authority over operations management.

REFLECTION
• This research was a great experience. It helped me to conduct the research
operations effectively and attain goals. I have experienced different ways
to develop personal as well as professional development. This has helped
me to manage the conduction of different research activities and know
about the way these activities function.
