INTRODUCTION
The assignment will focus on the NMC Code and nursing practice which considered the
professional body that help for determine the both professional and ethical value in the medical
profession, discuss about the multiple thinking that are required for maintaining high quality of
clinical practices.
Furthermore, it will examine the judgment on the basis of legal as well as ethical principle
in the current clinical practices. The legal as well as ethical principles are mainly used by nurse
in providing the safeguarding for vulnerable adults. In order to make important decision related
to the improvement. In this way, it will be avoiding the adverse events and patient harm. The
clinical practices will be considering the ability to provide safe, health care services. However, it
will consider the specific code of conduct to maintain the legal principles while identifying
scope, limitation in term of safeguarding the public.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is based on the professional body that help for
determine the professional as well as ethical value in the medical profession. Usually, it is
covered the ethical needs and also maintain personal duties of nurses in UK. The registered nurse
in NMC that must adopt code in order to focus on nursing practise (Barton, 2019). NMC is
mainly focused on the need or requirement for nurse which help to proficient in skills,
knowledge and conduct. The ethical patient management can be achieved by meeting all demand
of profession (Rubio-Navarro, Garcia-Capilla and Rutty, 2019). This type of code server as key
guideline for maintaining ethical patient management.
From NMC, (2018) Registered nurses plays important role in providing, coordinating and
leading care which become compassionate, evidence-based. In order to perform the different
actions and must able to work with proper manner. The nurses make an important contribution in
term of health promotion, protection and prevention of illness. The registered nurses give
leadership in term delivery of health care service of all age groups (Cannaby and Owen, 2020). It
is mainly focused on the physical, mental, cognitive as well as behavioural care. Sometimes, it is
difficult for maintaining the overall health care services. Furthermore, it has been considered the
standards of proficiency which applied on the NMS registered Nurses.

expected standards in relation to professional value, quality and accountability. In this way, it
can be identified the care, safety and maintain the dignity of patient (Fisher and et.al., 2019). The
registered nurses should be considered the code of conduct to manage their responsibilities and

Capilla and Rutty, 2019). However, this legislation will support for highlighting the medical
professional community and health care firm working together.
Safeguarding adults which become important for everyone health service provider and
other practice nurse that have professional duties. Generally, it is mainly directed the by nursing
and Midwifery Council (Cannaby and Owen, 2020). It should able to protect and promote the
right of patient who are not able to protect themselves. It important for vulnerable adults that are
kept as safe as possible. It may involve in safeguarding decisions.

individual’s requirement, working with other agencies through person-centred ways.

always committed towards the different practises.

well as procedures.
Another way, it also identified the limitation of nurse current role when become difficult or
complex in term of confidentiality. For instance, patient poses a risk of server harm to him or
others. At that certain level, nurse may be obliged to share the information with members and
associated with professionally. Sometimes, it has chances to reveal the medication information in
front of third parties. In this way, it has identified the certain limitation in role of health health

From above discussion, it has summarised about legal as well as ethical principle in the
current clinical practices. These are playing important role for managing and controlling the high
quality health care to patient. It has been concluded that avoid the adverse events and patient
harm. The clinical practices are becoming useful for providing the better safety and health care
services. However, it also used the specific code of conduct to maintain the legal principles while
identifying scope, limitation in context of safeguarding.
