INTRODUCTION
Nursing refers to the autonomous and collaborative care of the people of all ages,
communities, groups and families. In this there will be inclusion of means of nurse to care and
how they treat to old person with dignity. Further this will evaluate how this will underpin the
healthy ageing. Moreover, this report will outline the dignity, care and respect while providing
care to the older people by stating the evidence.
MAIN BODY
Defining meaning of nurse to care and to treat older person
The geriatric nurse are the types of nurses that is specialize in order to take care of the
older people and adults. They used to care for elder patients for the long term as if they are
facing the chronic diseases. Nurses used to have greater support to the older people and to their
families as well to have evidence based care. They used to take good care of the older people and
treat them nicely as already they are facing issues in their life (Dall’Ora and et.al., 2020). The
care of old people is one who used to need the help in order to cope up with the medical
problems in their everyday life. The nurses are the individuals who used to take care of the older
people with dignity and respect. This is considered as important part as this help the older
people to have the better care as they used to face different problems while ageing. Some of old
people used to live alone that used to cause may hindrances so nurses is basically the support
system that helps them in their medical conditions.
By having the good and polite nurses helps the older people to live better by showing
them some respect and dignity in their bad health condition (Cornine, 2020). The procedure of
nursing and taking care of the old people must be good as this makes them to have better caring
of the people. They must have feeling of caring, kindness, empathy, compassion, emotional
stability that helps them to serve bets to the older people.
Evaluating person centred care, dignity, respect underpin health ageing
Person centred care is all about treating the person while they used to receive the
healthcare of medical facilities. This also includes that they must have proper health care with
full respect, dignity and making them participate in the decision- making that is about their
health. By providing them respect and treating them well helps them to live better and cope up
with their problems early and easily (Doyle and et.al., 2020). This type of acre is basically
