INTRODUCTION
Nursing is defined as the profession which is used in such a way which
help other patient in order to provide quality of health and care with their
support. Moreover, there are number of people who used to take the
support and care from the nursing in order to improve their health. The
post-surgical patient requires proper care and support from the healthcare
service for the improvement of health and wound which is occur during
the surgery.
They are in high risk because the infection in the surgical site is major
issue which is faced by patient. As per this, the patient requires support
and care. In this poster, post-surgical patient is transferred in ward and
measure the probability of high risk and determine the need and care for
the patient.
There is some risk which is associated with patient after surgery includes:
Shock: It is usually occurring within the patient when the severe blood loss is
occurring that cause a dangerous reduction of the blood flow throughout the body.
Moreover, shock is usually cause due to the blood loss, infection brain injury, or
the metabolic issue. Usually, treatment include some of the following aspect such
as stopping any blood loss, help the patient with their breathing by providing
mechanical ventilation if they are needed.
Hemorrhage: It is defined as the aspect of bleeding among the patient. In this, the
rapid blood loss form the surgery site is happening. That may lead to cause the
issue of shock. The treatment and support for this is to IV fluid or blood plasma,
blood transfusion, and more surgery is initiated in order to control the bleeding.
Wound infections: This is usually happening in the post-surgical patient because
of bacterial infection which is happen in surgical site. Treatment for the wound
infection is majorly include use of proper antibiotic and surgery procedure in order
to clean the infected area.
