Cardiovascular health is considered as term which is generally used to describe all diseases that
is related to heart and blood vessels. There are two most common form of cardiovascular health
disease (CVD) i.e. coronary heart disease and stroke. The main aim of developing this
presentation poster is to aware society about the Cardiovascular Health Disease for which it will
include topics related to it such as related disease, symptoms, cure process or treatment and so
on.

Cardiovascular health disease is determined as diseases which are related to blood vessels and
heart. There are several diseases which are related to Cardiovascular such as abnormal heart
rhythm or arrhythmias, congenital heart disease, marfan syndrome, heart attack, heart failure,
heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, stroke, vascular disease and many more. It is essential for
society to know about these Cardiovascular Diseases, its symptoms as well as its treatment.
Below most common cardiovascular health disease i.e. heart attacks as well as strokes and its
related information are given which are essential to know about society:-
Heart attacks – It refers to the medical emergency which occurs when blood clot block blood
flow to the heart and without blood tissue loses oxygen and get dies.
Symptoms of heart attack
Feeling coughing, nausea, vomiting, dizziness and crushing chest pain.
A person also feels shortness of breath that called dyspnea.
Face changes its color and seems gray in color.
A person feels terror that their life is ending.
An individual fee restless, clammy as well as sweaty.

Cause
Diet – Unhealthy diet can increase risk of stroke is one that is high in salt, saturated
fats, trans fats, cholesterol and many more.
Inactivity – If a person is lazy and there is lack of exercise then there is high risk for
stroke.
High alcohol or tobacco consumption – If an individual consume huge amount of
alcohol as well as tobacco then he/ she will be on the high risk of stroke.
Family back ground – If a person having family history of stroke then it will be risk
factor.
Health history – When a person having health history which include sickle cell
disease, heart valve defect, heart disorder, diabetes, high blood pressure,
previous stroke and so on then there will be high risk.
Preventive measures
Quit smoking as well as consume alcohol in moderate rate.
Keep weight down or maintain.
Get proper and regular checkup of cholesterol and blood pressure.
Do regular exercise or activities.
Consult with doctor or medical processional to improve lifestyle.
If a person having diabetes then manages it by taking steps.
Diagnosis
There are several test and method adopted by doctors, nurses or medical professional
in order to diagnose stroke, such as:
Blood test – Blood sugar level, any infection, platelets level, how fast blood
get clots
MRI (Magnetic resonance imaging) and CT (Computerized tomography)
scan.
KEG (Electrocardiogram)
Carotid Ultrasound
Echocardiogram
Cerebral angiogram
Warning signs
There is some warning signs which show attack is occurring, so it is
essential to people to know about it:
Feeling discomfort, pressure, fullness in chest or squeezing that lasts many minutes or resolves
then returns.
Sudden feeling shortness of breath.
Feeling pain or discomfort in the neck, back, jaw, arms and stomach.
Cause
Age – It mainly take place when a person is over 45 as well as when a women is more than 55.
Angina – This generally occur when there is chest pain due to lack of oxygen or blood supply to
heart.
Diabetes – This will increase the risk of heart attack.
High level cholesterol – This can also increase the chance of blood clots in the arteries.
HIV – People who have HIV positive have 50 percent more risk of heart attack.
Smoking – Generally smokers have more risk of heart attack as compare to non smokers.
Obesity – If a person is overweight then it will put pressure on the heart which leads to heart
attack.
Preventive measures
Quite smoking and keep intake of alcohol down
Eat balance as well as healthful diet
Keep diabetes under the control
Getting plenty of good and quality sleep
Always maintain blood cholesterol at the optimum level
Keep blood pressure at the safe level
Avoid stress as well as learn how to manage it properly
Strokes – It is considered as situation when there is poor blood flow to the brain and it result in the
cell death. There are mainly two types of strokes i.e. ischemic (occur due to lack of blood flow)
and hemorrhagic (occur due to bleeding), both stroke lead to situation when brain will not
functioning properly.
Symptoms of heart attack
Women –
Nausea or vomiting , Hallucination, Pain and general weakness, Shortness of
breath or feeling trouble in breathing, Seizures, Fainting or losing, consciousness
Sudden feeling in behavior change
Men –
Arm get weak or muscle feel weak on one side of the body , Drooping on
one side of the face or uneven smile, Slurred speech, trouble understanding other speech or
difficulty in speaking

By analyzing above mentioned point it can be summarize that for a person it is
essential to know each and every things about the disease which is related to
cardiovascular health, the main disease related to it is heart attack and stroke. So it is
essential for society to know about it, its symptoms, preventive measures, cause and
other factors as that will help them in taking decision properly at emergency time or
situation.
