INTRODUCTION
Healthcare provide better opportunity to people to get and maintain good health. In this,
there are many healthcare professionals who work constantly to deliver better and effective
healthcare services. Within healthcare premises nursing staff are one of the group who work
constantly for longer duration of time where they are not getting enough rest and face the risk of
burnout. There is various problem which caused by the burnout amongst healthcare staff which
can lead to impact on the quality of care services and on patient health or healthcare premises.
These problems may include decrease job satisfaction and increased personnel turnover
The problem- Decreased job satisfaction
Increased working time can lead to create high impact on the staff working. This can create
burden to individual that are effective and may lead to create risk of increased work which are
not tolerable. Here, staff are not getting proper time to get rest which lead to increased stress or
burnout. It can also reduce the quality of service delivery to patient that also impact the patient
health outcomes. This can lead to create the risk of decreased job satisfaction within them.
The problem- Increased personnel turnover
Due to burnout amongst healthcare staff it can lead to create high impact on continuing
their job. Quitting their job can also lead to increase the personnel turnover in the healthcare
organisation. Employ turnover is basically the data containing amount of employs leaving the
company in voluntary and involuntary pattern. This is the issues which is need to be obstructed
as company is losing their trained employs which can impact the growth of the healthcare
(Maloney and et. al., 2018).
Primarily cause of the increase in employs turnover rate is healthcare organization is not
paying the sufficient amount for the work and efficiency nurses are providing, work and life
balance were not fulfilled as over exertion in their workplace or the work environment provided
is toxic and even not at all flexible. This also includes their pay of are not fulfilling their
demands as organisation might not provide extra compensation for their additional support and
they are experiencing the physical and mental exhaustion. This exhaustion is also accelerating
their own health and quality of living. Additionally, it also includes nurses are not getting any
recognition for their work and no initiatives are taken to modify their potentially acquired skills.

Lack of challenging work reduces the professionals motivation which directly impacts the
professionals productivity and growth (Lieow and et. al., 2019).
Solution 1- Increasing number of nursing staff
Expanding the nursing staff may decrease the workload and patient may get the proper
facilities and quality care. Providing the sufficient time for the nursing staff reduce the employee
dissatisfaction which can also proven to help healthcare institution to promote the better quality
service to their patients. The nursing staff can increase the productivity and image of healthcare
permissive. Flexibility is one of the most important component for the nursing force because the
nursing staff can easily manage the healthcare institute(Dean, Venkataramani and Kimmel,
2020). Management team should have to providing the sufficient time for the relaxation which is
beneficial for the nursing staff health which can provides the relevant knowledge and proper
medical treatment to the patient. Nursing staff is the core part of the healthcare institution
because they provides the better service by which institution can makes more profitability
outcomes. Providing the sufficient time and relaxation between the nursing staff can reduce the
organization turnover and dissatisfaction of the patient. This is most important for the nursing
staff to take relax because the freshness can maintain the load of organization and reduce the
tiredness among the health provider team (Cho and Han, 2018).
Nursing staff faces the many challenges and complexity due to the workload so this is
very crucial for the nursing staff to take care of their physical and mental health. The relationship
between the nursing staff and management team should be healthier which can helps in sharing
and communication their decision with each other. Being flexible and allowing staff to take the
rest and cooperate with them makes the profit to the healthcare organization. Organization
should have to offers increased pay rates to the nurses who are willing to their work. Always
grant time off for the nursing staff because relaxation gives the mind stable and employee can
work with more efficacy. Many healthcare facilities provides the off time and schedule the sift
according to the nursing staff comfort because everyone is not capable of sacrificing their
lifestyle. This is important for asking each staff member about their capabilities and flexibility by
which they offers and treating patient in a good and effective manner(Wang and et. al., 2020).
These changes can give the positive impact on the nursing staff attitudes which includes the job
satisfaction, psychological well-being and improvement in their performance.
