ABSTACT
The present report is based on problem of seclusion behaviour of people due to which a
nurse face issues in mental health care sector to analyse actual symptoms properly. It is
necessary for them to make summary for present shown signs of patients to ensure about specific
mental disorder to provide an appropriate medication for their welfare. Moreover, seclusion
behaviour of an individual create incomplete medical information which generate confusion and
it will facilitate delaying in medication which may leads to critical condition of them.
Additionally, nurses are required become more efficient to deal with different types of patients
having unique nature and complete their tasks in proper manner along with generating better
outcomes (Fortinash and Worret, 2014). However, it involves their quality of working in flexible
environments by maintaining their skills much efficient make people healthy and fit. Grumpy
nurses are required to remain calm and respond patiently with people so that they will trust on
them to share any minor issue easily.
The nurses have certain roles to fulfil them in more effective as well as efficient way by
providing desired care facilities to mental patients for their welfare. The main purpose of this
assignment is to analyse ways of dealing with seclusion behaviour of patient by reducing the
same and provide proper treatment to make them well being. It involves the criteria to remain in
confidence of patient, gain trust, fulfill their needs, provide proper meal or tea to make them
comfortable so that they will feel easy to share problems properly.
INTRODUCTION
The issue of secluded behaviour refers to non- interacting nature of patients which create
problem for nurse in order to analyse actual symptoms of desired problem in mental health. It
include non- cooperative response of patients, not sharing anything properly, remain afraid, may
become violent and so on. Moreover, nurses have several roles towards patients and seclusion
response create problem to provide an appropriate medication to them (Gilbert, 2014). It include
several ways to deal with secluded patients in mental health to make them comfortable and
fulfilling their needs properly. The recommendations for improving practices in order to render
treatment to psychologically sick person by reducing their secluded nature.

The seclusion behaviour of people create several problems for nurses in order to diagnose
different mental disorders and it is necessary to evaluate every single symptoms properly. It is
required to thoroughly examine each signs of an individual relevant to specific disorder because
it provide support to make an appropriate decision about medication of them (Bowers, 2014).
Moreover, it involves fact of providing more effective as well as efficient treatment by analysing
symptoms or other signs of body in order to make patient disease free. In context of grumpy
nurses, they are required to remain calm and deal with patients through implementing an
appropriate way which is suitable as per psychological behaviour of patient.
At the other hand, seclusion behaviour impacts negatively on medication procedure of
particular patient in order to make them healthy. People are not comfortable usually who are
suffering from mental disorders because they are not stable in psychological manner so that they
are not in such condition to share their actual experience whatever they have faced. It is essential
to interact with them on regular basis and listen to them along with putting efforts to gain their
trust in order to make them feel relaxed with nurse. Meanwhile, it will provide support to
carrying out an appropriate treatment to make them well being through providing medication
properly.

There are several key points which are required to be analysed such as negative impacts
of secluded behaviour on health of mental patients, roles & traits of nurses and ways to deal with
secluded patients. The primary problem is that nurse are not able to gain overall information
about their symptoms relevant to specific mental problem which is really important to decide
about actual issue of an individual. However, it is very important to evaluate an accurate mental
health issues according to which more effective as well as efficient treatment to make them well
being (Goffman, 2017). At the other hand, it is necessary for nurses to have an appropriate
ability to work in different environments including regular hospitals, psychiatric asylums, home
health care organizations, prisons & jails, outpatient mental health organizations as well as
schools that serve people with emotional and mental problems.
Additionally, they are required to properly evaluate present symptoms such as panic
attacks, anxiety, drugs or alcohol abuse, Mood disorders, phobias, depression and many more. It
include that nurse is needed to put desired efforts for boosting up their efficiencies so that they

can deal with differentiated patients with their unique behavior. At last but not the least, they can
remain friendly but remember professional concept, behave equally with overall mental patients
and make them comfortable to share any issue.
Recommendations to improve practice
The seclusion behaviour of people is major problem in mental health as it is not
applicable in order to make proper record of present symptoms in an appropriate manner. It will
facilitate to an incomplete medical information about patients which is not sufficient to make an
appropriate decision to provide desired medication (Carpenter, 2018). It has been recommended
that nurses will remain frank with mental patients and try to achieve their trust which is helpful
to provide most accurate treatment for their welfare. Moreover, it is also suggested that grumpy
nurses should remain calm and behave politely with mental patients because strict behaviour
may impacts negatively on psychological status of a individual due to which situation my
become worst or patient can become violent.

The above report had concluded that seclusion behaviour is an issue for nurses in mental
health sector because it becomes barrier to evaluate symptoms. It include roles of nurses towards
psychological patients including provide medication, care facilities, fulfil their needs and so on.
Additionally, several recommendations are included such as achieve trust of patients, listen to
them properly, complete their requirements etc.
