1. Explain how you communicate with your
patients and co-workers.
The care workers can make conversations with
their co-workers by having face to face
communications. Instead of sending mails or
messages, having face to face conversations
can positively develops relationship with co-
workers and with patients such that, it builds
trust and make them to share their emotions
and feelings more positively. The
communication skills can better enhance the
well-being of patients as well.
2. Give an example of how you have
collaborated with your colleagues from
different work areas, on a task or deadline,
using communication skills and written or
digital skills.
In healthcare organization, the examples of
collaboration with co-workers can include such
as discussing a patient’s condition or their
provided care services to patients. The care
workers make communication while discussing
about the issues which patients are having or
suffering from. Through having effective
communication, care professionals and care
workers can effectively able to discuss the care
treatment with their co-workers and with
patient also.
3. Give two examples where you have
identified potential conflicts, dealt with
communication constraints and resolved the
situation successfully.
 An ineffective care provided by care
workers which make conflicts among
patients, their family members and co-
workers. This can be resolved by
developing an effective communication
so that patients can able to share their
emotions and feelings which make care
workers to furnish care treatment as per

 Low level communication can results in
increase in conflicts and reduced
patient care. It can be improved by
developing an effective communication
so that developing conflicts can be
overcome and enhances the patient’s
outcome.
4. Describe what type of issues you should
report to your supervisor or appropriate
person.
The type of issues which must be report to the
care manager such as providing insufficient
care to patients, holistic patient care, lack of
patient’s privacy, lack of enhancing care to
access and many more. In addition to this, lack
of duty of care with respect to patients is the
major issue which often arises in healthcare
organization. It must be reported to the care
managers so that it can be overcome
efficiently.

completed in your workplace? What are the
correct documentation procedures you have to
adhere to?
The types of documentation that are completed
in a healthcare organization are understanding
oriented discussions, evidence-oriented
materials, objective oriented as well as learning
oriented. These all types can be effectively
achieved by developing an effective
communication with co-workers and with
patients so that care workers can able to furnish
quality services to patients and ultimately
enhances organizational outcomes.

improve a workplace practice and who did you
involved in the process.
The organizational practice can be improved
by the following ways such as by planning
meetings, establishing effective
communication, inhibit the most challenging
tasks, by acknowledging weaknesses and
strengths as well. All these practices can be
positively achieved by involving co-care
workers, managers and patients as well.

to work within your own limitations in a group
environment. How would you still work with
the group if you had a cultural bias with one of
the workers?
While talking about healthcare organization,
the cultural bias is generally occurring in every
organization. It only depends over the
managers and other care workers that how they
would react towards such cultural bias. Such as
working during night is partially biased that
males will serving at night but, while providing
care to patients every care nurse equally
involves duties such as during day or night.
2. Explain how you can contribute to
workplace safety and professional relationships
whilst respecting co-worker’s diversity.
Care worker can positively contribute towards
the safety as well as professional development
in organization by simply acknowledging
about the cultural differences. It can also
involve offer implicit partiality education for
every one so that care workers can get to know
about various forms of cultural. It can be
overcome by developing an effective
communication with other people as having
good communication can also overcome the
cultural differences among people can

ultimately lead to better organization's
outcome.
3. What strategies do you use when working
and communicating with co-workers from
diverse backgrounds?
The strategies which should be used when
working or communicating with people having
diverse background such as must keep the
language concise as well as clear so that people
can possibly understand the language. Another
strategy that must be used such as people must
use an inclusive language in both the verbal
and written discussions. People must actively
listen so that the barriers can be effectively
overcome.
4. Explain a situation where there was an issue
understanding a person’s communication, how
did you resolve it, what impact did it have and
who did you involve in the process.
In healthcare organization, there are diverse
number of patients who are generally from
various different background. While providing
care treatment to patients there were some
issues arises such as language barriers like care
worker is not able to understand what their
patients actually need care treatment. In order
to reduce this, there is a need to develop an
effective communication and reduce the
language barrier by keeping the conversation
clear and concise. This thing can help care
worker to provide quality care treatment of
their patient's own choice so that patients can
better their well-being.
