INTRODUCTION The concept of healthy diet states that diet is very important for good nutrition as well as health. A healthy diet can protect people from many chronic non-transmissible diseases like heart related diseases, cancer as well as diabetes. Its concept includes that a healthy diet can generally give the body with crucial nutrition such as macronutrients, adequate amount of energy food, micronutrients as well as plenty of fluids. In this, it also includes the vegetables, fruits as well as the whole grain that may involves a small amount or no processed food products or the sweetened beverages. In this report it will cover the importance and the role of the nutritional components such as vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats and proteins in a healthy diet. This report will also cover a deep understanding of the functions as well as role of both micro and macro nutrients that will contributes to a poor or good health status(Samadzad. and Hashemi, 2021). MAIN BODY The importance of balance diet cannot be underlined enough for a healthy lifestyle. It can be attained by maintaining a proper balanced diet as well as keeping into reflection to come across all the crucial nutrients which are needed by the body. A proper meal plan can usually aid to accomplish an ideal body weight and can generally decreases the risk of developing the chronic illness such as diabetes, the types of cancer and the cardiovascular disorders. It includes a concept of balanced diet which contains a simple explanation that is, a diet which generally offers the nutrients so as to aid the functioning of the body properly. Its necessity can lie in the intake of the appropriate amount of calories.As calories are specifically an indicator of the energy content which is usually present in a food. Minerals as well as vitamins are generally considered as an important nutrient as they can perform many of the roles in the body(Larson, 2018). They can usually help to heal the wounds, shore up the bones and can involves a capability to boost up the immune system. The vitamins and minerals can convert the food into the energy form and can able to repair the cellular impairment. The vitamins can involve approximately about 13 important vitamins which are needed for the body so as to work efficiently such as Vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, B5, B7, B9, C, D, E and k). Vitamins are categorised into two sub categories such as the water soluble vitamins which are generally not stored inside the body and the fat soluble vitamins which are usually stored in the liver, muscles
as well as the fatty tissues inside the body. The fat soluble vitamins are further categorized into sub vitamins such as A, D, E and K vitamin. These vitamins can be immersed more easily by the body in the existence of dietary fats. Whereas, there are 9 water soluble vitamins such as vitamin C and all the eight components of vitamin B. The deficiency of vitamins inside the body only occurs when the body does not get enough amount of certain vitamins which generally leads to cause a health issue among people. if a normal body does not get plenty of fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, lentils as well as the dairy foods can develop greater risk of having well-being issues such as poor bone density leads to diseases called osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and cancer. This condition can be cured if an individual can take food which are rich in vitamin B such as pork, whole grains, dried grains and so on. A pellagra disease is a disorder which is generally caused by the lack of vitamin B3 such as niacin. It includes symptoms such as inflamed skin, dementia, sores inside the mouth and so on. In this, the area of the skin is generally exposed to either the sunlight or the friction are typically affected the first. With the increase in time, the affected skin may become stiffen, peel or can become even more darken. People should take the diet in their daily routine such as chicken, beef, enriched grains, mushrooms, brans and many more. Another deficiency includes vitamin C that usually causes scurvy. It can generally lead to anaemia, fatigue, spontaneous bleeding, limbs pain, weakness and so on. To overcome this deficiency, it must be included in their food such as spinach, meat, seafood, and many other items or products which are rich in iron. It is recommended that people have to be encourage to choose variety of food from the initial mentioned groups every day that can help them in the process of remaining healthy and also maintaining of their function properly. It is advisable that the key message of the balance of good health us the balance of foods that is required to be consumed for achievement of a good healthy diet. It is based on a practical and sensible approach. It is suggested that there is need to focus on wholemeal, whole grain and high fibre versions so that it can provide the basic required nutrients. Further there is require to eat variety of fruits, vegetables and there must be avoidance to adding any type of fat or rich sauces to vegetable. There must not be addition of syrupy designs, sugar to fruits. It is also recommended that there can be use on skimmed milk or semi skimmed milk, low fat yoghurt, lower fat cheeses(Pohekar, Sharma and Ankar, 2020). There must be focus on looking at the proper nutrients in the labels. For instances 8 percent fat may be labelled as low fat but it is it actually the lowest available fat. The balance of good health also suggest that people are developing preferences for increased amount of bread, potatoes and cereals in practical terms that may result into bigger rather than more portions. In terms of drinks it is recommended that there must be proper fluid intake that is six to eight mugs, cups ad glasses each day. Drinks that include sugar such a squashes, fruit juices and carbonated drinks must not be preferred as it may contribute to tooth decay. The major emphasis of the balance of good healthy is on encouraging people to have more portions of vegetables, fruits as compared to the way people are doing it currently. It may lead towards better portions. The balance of good health is applying to most of the people it includes ethnic origins, vegetarian and people who are looking for healthy weight as per their height. It is discovered that drinks which contain sugar such as squashes, fruit juices or any type of carbonated drinks must not be drunk frequently as it may contribute to tooth decay. Further, it does not include any type of nutrients which may lead to no addiction towards balance diet(Adams, 2021).
