Introduction
The repot is prepared for National University for identifying the interaction that is
needed for the development of the University enrolment system. The use case is developed
such that interaction between the system and the user can be identified and they are primary
use cases are identified such that the features of the system can be identified. The use case
can help in picturizing the task that is performed by the information system. The use case
identified for the development of the information system are used for the development of the
story board. The storyboard is developed from the eight use cases with the use of illustration
images and helps in identifying specification of the particular set of software. The screens
that are needed to be displayed by the information system are drawn for the illustration of the
user experience steps. The software engineer works on the development of the system by
modifying the story board and meet the specific needs of the user. The development of the
story board helps in identification of specific user requirement and the intention for the
development of it. The user can understand the requirement much better than abstraction with
the use of storyboard and if there is need for making changes in the user interface the story
board can be changed at a lower cost than the software.
Identification of Eight Use Cases
The following are the eight use cases identified for the development of the university
enrolment system:
Use Case#1: Store details in system
The use case 1 is created for storing the details of the student that they fill up during the
registration process and the subjects they choose as their major subject. The data stored is
used for authentication of the user and manage their own data from the information system.
Use Case#2: Authenticate as Valid User

The validity of the user is authenticated by comparing the username and password the student
uses during opening the account and it helps in improving the security of the information
system.
Use Case#3: Choose Major
A list of subject is inputted by the system admin in the information system and the student
can select the subject from the drop down list as their major subject for registering with the
course.
Use Case#4: Change Selection
Options for modifying the details and information about the student is provided that is
inputted by the student for updating the student profile. A second stage verification process is
used for modification of data and updating the database with the new information.
Use Case#5: Add Course
The teacher has the authority for adding new course for updating the information system and
management of the growth of the university.
Use Case#6: Delete Course
The teacher has the authority for deleting any existing course that has been removed from the
university.
Use Case#7: Update Course
The teacher has the authority for updating any course with new subjects and adding learning
material or classes.
