Introduction Project management is the process of leading work of team for achievement of desired project goals and objectives within given constraints (Tereso & et. al., 2019). This presentation will lay emphasis upon development of a project of OCTOPUS ENERGY. Octopus Energy is a British renewableenergygroupthatspecializesinsustainable energy. Itwasfoundedin2015who’smainheadquarterisin London, UK. This Project of Octopus Energy will focus on creating a social media marketing strategy to develop the business and expanding the customers for the company. Thispresentationwillfurtherdefineproject,its characteristics,projectmanagerrole,applicationofthe theoretical frameworks and methodologies within project environment,criticalevaluatethecompositionand management of teams in a project environment.
Project, its characteristics and role of project manager They will be focusing upon creating and posting visual content about their achievements, recent expansion in business, new products and services launched by them etc. on social networking websites. They will be creating visual content for spreading their message and reaching their target customers (Li, F., Larimo & Leonidou, 2021). Moreover, Octopus Energy can develop and post video content of their achievement, products and services for on every social media platform in order to gain attention of target customers. Using tools like Google Analytics engagement of target customers on different social networking sites will be monitored so that organization can identify on which website is mostly used by customers so that thy can enhance their activity on their website. It will further help Octopus Energy to understand on which platform they need to enhance their presence by identifying social media platform which is mostly used by customers.

This framework has been chosenbecauseitprovidesbettercontroloverresources,helpsindefiningrolesand responsibilities in a clear manner, adopts a consistent approach to review cycle organize plan and had controllable project phase. Not only this it is one of the best framework that can be used for marketing and can help in completing the project within lowest possible budget. For this framework Microsoft Project tool was used by organization (Banica & et. al., 2017). One of the main reason because of which this methodology was chosen was because it is easy to be applied and can be applied to any industry. as Octopus Energy works on renewable energy source sector and require to develop or create social media strategy which is suitable for them for development of business and for enhancement of customer base.

Critical evaluation of composition and management of teams in a project environment Individuals with different skills and characteristics were included with the project as per the need and demand of the project. Critical evaluation of management of team clearly helps in understanding that selection of appropriate method and tool for management of teams within project environment is important. For composition and management of team first of all MS project tool can be selected or used so that all the team members working on project can be specified as resources required within tool. Each of them can be provided roles and responsibilities for completion of individual task. Not only this, wages of individual team members were also tracked with the help of this tool. This was appropriate for composition of teams working in this project in an appropriate manner. Not only this, this tool can further help in keeping a track of all the team members that whether roles and responsibilities of each team have been distributed appropriately and according to their skills and knowledge or not.

This method was used to track current work, attitude of all the project team members. Using this method, live conversation and observation. Project manager would communicate with all the team members, take their reviews, goalstheyhaveachievedintermsofmilestonesachievement,deliverables, accomplishments and interpersonal issues faced by them. Other than this a common shared drive was shared each team members and all kinds of important documents and notice were uploaded on that only. Monthly feedback can directly help in more effective management because issues or problems faced by team members can be identified in an appropriate manner.

Appendix Project management can be defined as a kind of process that consist of specific knowledge, tools, methods, frameworks etc. for delivering project to end customers as per their specified needs and requirements. Project management helps in dividing project in different stages so that it can be completed in an appropriate manner. First stage is initial processing in which requirements of project are gathered, problem is defined upon which project is based. Second is planning stage in which design of project is develop and plan which is required to be followed for completion of project is done. In this, roles and responsibilities of all the team members is also divided. Third stage is execution stage in which all the planning done for project is brought into execution for completion of project. Fourth stage is monitoring and control process in which continuous monitoring of the project is done for identifying whether the project is moving in correct direction or not or whether any kind of change within project is required or not. Final stage is closure of project in which testing of the project is done to check that project is completed and ready to be delivered.
