1.Part 1: I.Introduction The purpose of this project is to develop a proposal plan for the construction of the office building which is located near Adams Street, Victoria. The dimension of the plot is 22.5 m in length and 6.5 m in breadth. The area of the plot is 146.25sq.m. The plot area gets the water from the Southern water supply. II.Project Objective The objective of this project is to design a proposal of constructing an office building and develop a budget which can be estimated on the basis of the project activities. III.Project scope The scope of the project focuses on the activities which should be included for developing an office building. In Scope activities:Accommodation of office space Development of the reception counter Development toilets for Male, female, and disabled people (University of California, 2007) Provision for storage space Development of the barbeque restaurant section Development of the parking zone Allocation of the cost to the estimated resources Prediction of start and finish date of the project Synchronizing and scheduling of project activities Proposed Budget Development of engineering drawings for the contractor Development of the Maintenance and operational plan Supply and demand of office premises Analysis of the furniture required Ethical code of conduct should be followed by the employees at work place Quality work Approval of budget Out of Scope Activities: No requirement of renovating the area of Adams Street No testing plan of the project are required
IV.Project Requirements The environment analysis should be done for focusing on the aesthetic feelings of the local people with that area, effects on the agricultural farms, occurrence of air pollution and noise pollution and others. The prerequisite should be developed to resolve social and legal issues associated with the project Survey of the land location Development of the technical plans Agreement with the local administrator to avoid distraction Availability of labour and material V.Planning Activities The three overlays should be taken under consideration for the development of the project. The first overlay is around the river of Yarra locality (Panfilova, 2014). The second overlay is for the development of the main road. And the third overlay should ensure that the radius of the city should not be come under construction (Timber Developmemt association, 2011). VI.Project Constraints The height of the building should be less than 9 metre There is a limited budget of $775,875 VII.Budget Total Land area of the plot = 146.25 Total floor area = 146.25 * 3 = 438.75 Total budget = $ 1700 * 438.75 = $ 745,875 Miscellaneous Expenditure = $ 30000 Total budget required = $ 775,875 VIII.Project Key features and Benefits The deployment of the project ensures that the project will be completed within the scheduled end date of the project. The management of supply and demand of resources helps in achieving smooth functioning of the construction activities (Westland Skye Development Ltd, 2011). The division of roles and responsibilities among the team members resolve the problem of conflict and chaos.
