INTRODUCTION
While studying higher education, a student has faced different types of challenges that
put direct impact on their performance and initiatives. Academic challenge is one of those that
has been affected the way individual learner study and effort to achieve high scores. The current
assignment will explain online learning definition, challenges while conducting this practice and
suggestions to college regarding each challenge.

What is online learning
In the recent time, online learning is one of the best and most effective learning approaches
in the field of education. As it has been utilized by each and every academic organization for
purpose of providing appropriate teaching and learning opportunities to their students (The
COVID-19 pandemic has changed education forever. This is how, 2020). It is also considered as
internet based knowledge obtaining method that may effectively connect students directly to
whom they are able to get better understanding about specific topic or course work.
What are the challenges of online learning?
While becoming a part of internet based learning, students may face different forms of
challenges, which may lead to decrease their confident and performance extent.
Technology issue-
It is one of the biggest issue that learners may face during online classes or learning as
they are unable to solve those technical issues that affect their performance and learning
initiatives in negative manner (Gillett-Swan, 2017). It is fact that many learners are not well
equipped with a better internet and other online learning resources that is needed to conduct this
practice.
Lack of knowledge about new online learning software-
Due to sudden changes in academic learning methods, because of pandemic, institutional
companies has taken decision to provide internet based teaching (Basar and et.al., 2021). It may
create challenges for students as they are unable to have any knowledge about new online
learning software or application as it may put negative impact on their effectiveness related to
knowledge gaining.

Recommendations to college
 It is quite essential for colleges to take strategic action regarding challenges that students
faced and to engage them during online sessions. For example, they can allow them to
download one of those software or application that easy connect them with tutors. Their
management before start using the specific application can provide appropriate
understanding to students about how they use that. It makes their performance and
initiatives effective and useful for both parties.
 Along with above implication, they can take action to create a particular curriculum and
send it to each learner, which drive their attention toward managing their performance
accordingly. It can help to engage them during online learning session, which is quite
essential and beneficial for them to do that in appropriate and systematic manner.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that academic institute has appropriately
overcome the negative impact of institutional challenges that has affected students, when they
are taking actions to study via online. By adopting and considering above strategic suggestions,
institutional management has appropriately engaged students during online classes.
