Abstract
This study will provide an overview of Vinamilk's operations management and leadership. First,
it will provide an outline of Vinamilk's core operations. Second, it will discuss the external
environment variables influencing operation management at Vinamilk, as well as the steps taken
by Vinamilk's leaders and managers to address the issues. Third, the study will be concerned
with the theories that Vinamilk used to operate the business as well as providing some
recommendations to the corporation in order to cope with the recent challenges.

1. Introduction to key operations of Vinamilk
Core products of Vinamilk
As a one of biggest dairy company in Vietnam, Vinamilk have a wide range of products that can
satisfy every demand and need of every consumer. In detail, most of their products are milk and
other dairy products such as baby milk powder, condensed milk, fresh milk, eating yogurt,
drinking yogurt, cheese, ice cream, etc (Vinamilk, 2021). In their core products lines – liquid
milk products, they have 100% fresh milk, pasteurized milk supplemented with micronutrients,
pasteurized fresh milk, pasteurized milk, and organic milk with the brand name as “Super SuSu”,
“ADM Gold” and many more. Moreover, they also have some of beverage products from juice,
salted lemonade, bottle water to tea with the brand name as “VFresh”.
Core operations of Vinamilk
Thanks to having a modern facilities and newest technology from foreign, Vinamilk can produce
many products with the best quality and economical. Vinamilk has a close and automatic
manufacturing process from raw material to the finished one (Vinamilk, 2020).
