Collectionair is unique in its offering tothe customers and it is preferred destination for art from most of emerging countries and it hasmade a partnership with many international curators. It sells artworks ranges between $500 and$50,000. This organisation tries to make a bond between B2C and C2C and its website hascontents related to art news, art tips, art value, buying process of artworks. This is most unusualAirbnb service which makes the service of Airbnb unique. This is a differentiation strategy takenby the organisation that provides them with competitive advantage. 3. Examples of cultural and ethical issues that face operations managers in a globalenvironmentCultural issueThe managers in global business environment need to have understanding about commonmanagement style. The managers need to have also knowledge about international businesspractice and they should have tolerance to different management style that can reduce thedisagreement of employees. Operation managers face the issue of building trust among theemployees and cultural imperatives are process of business customs to follow by the managers inglobal scenario (Chan et al. 2016). In global environment, managers have to manage employeesfrom different background and cultural exclusives people sometimes disrespectful for differentcultural people. Sometimes, gender inequality can also pose problems in global environment.Different culture operates in different levels and managers need to focus on more values as longas they need to meet the objectives.Ethical issue The operation managers in global environment have to provide training to the employees andthey need to bring about heightened awareness about ethics. Managers have to follow ethics inthe decision-making process. Managers have to take the decision about people management asthey have to manage the human resource. The managers should not discriminate amongemployees according to their colour, belief and creed. Key decisions of managers must be basedon interests of both external and internal customers (Slack 2015). Both the customers must weighequally in the mind of managers and ethical dilemma about employee safety in the workplace,pollution, waste disposal and restrictive company cultures.
