The APS helps in operation planning, it helps the planners to complete the task in designated time at the same time providing agility and assess he inventory plans. It creates optimized schedules while balancing the production efficiency and maintaining balance. It helps to maximize output on bottleneck resources in order to increase the revenue. It synchronizes the supply and demand to reduce the inventories. It enables scenario for data-driven decision- making. Conclusion It can be deferred from the above discussion that the roles and responsibility of an operation manager is not easy and requires number of skills and competency in order to deliver effective productivity.
