INTRODUCTION
Operation management refers to the administrations of company practices to make the
best quality of services with in an organisation. It is related with transforming raw material,
labour and other resources into finished goods or services to increase the maximum profit of a
business. Whereas, service management refers to the customer oriented approach to providing
information and data technology (Abidin, 2021). It focuses on giving value and importance to the
customers as well as consumer relationships to enhance higher satisfaction among them. To
explain this concept the selected organisation is Bentley Motors, it is British multinational
marketing and manufacturing company which deals in SUV and luxury cars globally.
The report covers operation management practices and its impact with in an organisation
in regards to its efficiency. Further, it defines the evaluation of technology that could be
integrated in this process and how it has already been achieved. At last it explains the supporting
functions which are linked with operation management practices and its assessment in
organisation success.

Operation management practices refers to the activities of operation managers to conduct
the manufacturing process successfully. It is a process which includes planning, supervising,

controlling, production process, manufacturing, and service delivery. Operations management is
essential in Bentley Motors because it helps operation manager to manage, supervise and control
the production process, workers, goods or services to increase the productivity and profitability
of the company (Adam and Elsoragaby, 2022). The manager of Bentley Motors chooses Total
quality management practice to improve the overall performance of the company
Total quality management
Total quality management is one of the operation management practices of the managers
to monitor and control the quality of worker performance as well as product and services. Total
quality management is the continuous process of finding or detecting as well as eliminating or
reducing errors during the process of manufacturing of goods and services. The operation
manager of Bentley Motors use this practice to monitor the quality of workers performance as
well as detect the error in their performance during the production process of products. By using
this practice in business operations the manager eliminate the faults in manufacturing which
leads improvement in the sales or customer experience. This helps the manager to contour supply
chain management and assist them to check that the employees are performing with their full
potential (Chand Dhiman and Chauhan, 2019). The main aim of this practice to grip all the
parties included in the manufacturing process are accountable for overall quality of finished
goods and services. The main focus of operation manager in Bentley Motors to improve the
quality of product and services by ensuring continuous improvement in employees performance,
customer services and production process.
It is considered as customer oriented practice which focuses on continuously enhancing
