A large portion of the Australia is deprived of the healthcare facilities in Australia. There are
certainly individuals and organizations that are working towards this specific problem however it
is an individual responsibility as well in order to make the society a better place for everyone. As
a student studying diploma in business information system one certainly feel get the scope for
taking initiative in order to reduce or eliminate the issue.
Australia is one of best nation that provides healthcare to its citizen. The nation have ranked
second worldwide in healthcare facilities. However, along with the position of second best in
healthcare across the globe, it is also one of the prominent countries that have equity in
healthcare. The issue of health equity is only inclusive if aboriginals and minority groups. They
are faced with several challenges that make them socio-economically backward. Hence, reaching
healthcare facilities as well become difficult for them.
According to the principle of the common good, human person is and ought to be the principle,
the subject and the end of all social institution. In social life every aspect must be related to and
stems from the dignity, unity and equality of all people. These principles convey that there is a
responsibility on every individual of treating every person equally. Also, it is the responsibility
of every person to ensure the resources are equally distributed (Etzioni 2014). Although
aboriginals are socio-economically backwards, they are equally deserving of respect, resources
and dignity. Therefore, it is important they are helped and provided with benefices in order to
hold equal position in every aspect of social life. The scripture gives clear idea that each and
every person is made in the image and likeliness of God. It is the main source of believe for the
in the inviolable and inherent dignity of the human person (Hume 2015).
