Apologising letter
I hope you are doing well. At the first i want to thank the organisation for giving me the pride
moment of my life. I am very grateful for honour you think that I am capable for. This is a
very proud thing for me to be selected as the best executive of the year. I am very thankful to
all those who have contributed in my achievement. But I want to apologise for my
inconvenience and inability to attend the meeting going to be held in Toronto, where I was
expected to address the meeting.
As I received an urgent invitation from our suppliers that they are facing some operational
and legal issues in our new deals I left the country immediately to attend that urgent meeting,
as this meeting is taking a lot of time than expected, it seems that I am unable to attend the
honour meeting in Toronto. Hence I would like to request you to do me favour if you found
my request acceptable. I would like to request you to shift the meeting for the upcoming
week so I can arrange my presence there.
I know it is not an acceptable matter although I thought it is very important for me to address
the honour meeting so I am requesting you to have a look over my request. This will be a
great pleasure and honour for me if you shift the meeting for the next week because this all is
very valuable and precious for me and my entire team. Looking for the positive response
from your side and once again I apologise for your inconvenience.
