INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour refers to the process which helps to learn such as how are different
individuals in an organization are functioning and how their interaction is with each other during
performing of tasks. This organizational behaviour runs on timely improvements within the
organizational dimensions of the workers and the management itself. This report is based on UK
organization Sainsbury. The firm operates as a second-largest chain in supermarkets chain with
relevant headquarter in London, United Kingdom. The company operates including 180,000
employees as a whole. Below study will be comprising the influence which organizational culture
plus motivation have on its performance within the organization along with distinct cultures and

motivational concepts/theories will be illustrated in this report. Analysis will be provided related to
Sainsbury concerning its culture. Also, it will discuss the benefits regarding working in a team,
advantages of contributing in team like leader or member, two development theories linked to the
efficiency in teamwork, more concepts related to OB including a reflection would be given related
to values of teamwork influencing behaviours within the workplace (Buchanan and Huczynski,
2019).

The company Sainsbury's with a good work-culture in its organization help workers by
providing properly with an ease of communication-related with the roles plus responsibilities given
to them in this organization. Some ways that aid in driving a good workforce with an enhanced
behaviour including performance in its organization are given as:
Innovation through culture
The firm through operating with good culture helps make way for enhancements that assist
in bringing more of innovation. Organizational culture is considered as a part of its setup as this
helps in knowing how advanced manner is its employees perform in and relative good culture is
followed by good problem-solving ability (Paais and Pattiruhu, 2020).
Values and goal enhancement
Having a good organizational culture also consists of values within the company. Combined
with a developed teamwork culture and workforce also aids Sainsbury's for developing many strong
and welltuned virtues in employees including defining success aspects for the organization and
assist the company for its team growth.
Facilitates employee retention
Having a good culture in place also serves as a reason behind attaining high employee
retention within the Sainsbury organization. The corporation can develop a great culture in its
working environment to become capable for keeping the workforce plus culture enhanced and
encouraged towards respective organization.
