WEEK -2
Workplace emotions
Emotion are our feeling which we show in our daily life such as laugh happy etc. When
we work at the workplace it is important us to have joyful environment, so we can communicate,
create relation etc. Emotions at the workplace shows that how actually their organization treat.
Positive emotion- employees will be happy, and they will give their best to complete the task.
Negative emotions- Employees can be disagreeing or unhappy with the workplace environment
and it effect on their working performance.
Job satisfaction
' Job satisfaction is defined as the level of contentment employees feel with their job and it
also helps to measure if the employees are happy with their job. It is also important for me to
find out job where I can be satisfied with the work, working environment and salary. If I will be
satisfied with the job and happy with the job then I will enjoy working with that company.
Organizational commitment
Organizational commitments defined as a view of an organization's member's psychology
towards his/her attachment to the organization that he or she is working for. Here is some way
which can help companies to build the commitment.
Support- companies can support their employees by providing additional benefits.
Trust- As a leader I can create trust among the employee by understanding their problems
Organizational comprehension – Provide group activities to increase the flow of communication.
Employees involvement- It is necessary for the companies to create trust among the employees.

WEEK 3
Employees motivation
Employees motivation is beneficial for the companies so it is necessary for them to keep
their workers motivated. Motivated employees give their best in the task and help company
achieve their task goals.
Motivational theories
Motivational theories are focused toward motivating employees by understanding their
needs, importance and their satisfaction. Maslow motivation theory is one of the best
motivational theory which is used by organizations to motivate their employees. Maslow explain
the Five human needs which can safety the needs and motivate them. Fine needs of theory are
social actualization, esteem, love and belongingness, safety needs and Physiological needs. As a
leader I can also use this motivational theory to motivate people who will work under me so I
can motivate them to give their best in the task and help me to achieve daily goals and
objectives.
Expectancy theory of motivation
The Expectancy theory of motivation is based on the idea that work effort is directed
toward the behaviours that people will lead to the desire outcome. This theory was introduced by
the Victor Vroom in 1965. the expectancy theory states that the workers motivation of how
much a single employee want a reward (value) The appraisal which the likelihood that the effort
will lead to the expected performance (Expectancy) and the beliefs which the performance will
lead to the reward (Instrumentality)
Equality theory of motivation
The equality theory of motivate deals with the value of themselves to the others in the
simpler situation based on the inputs and the outputs. The Equality theory is focused to motivate
employees by treating the employees equally and fairly within the company. As a Leaders I can
use this theory by treating employees equally so can create trust among the employees and I
will able to lead them effectively.
Week 4
Decision making
Decision making is the process of making choice by identifying a decision, gathering
decision and identifying proper solution of the process. It is important for me to create decision-
