INTRODUCTION Organisationalbehaviouristhestudyofbothgroupandindividualactivityand performance in an organisation so that they can establish a right code of conduct with the consideration of running of business in an appropriate manner. It main concern with the human behaviour that how employees are getting influenced of performing their task within the organisation(Zhang and Jiang, 2020).It helps in getting the insights of an individual so that actual perception can be identified so that they will motivate their employees andleads to establish the strong relationship with the employees. Asda is the chosen organisation for this report, It is the British supermarket chain in the Leeds, England and it is established in 1949 by Peter and Fred Asquith. It is the leading company in the retailing industry that is operating their business on the larger scale. This report will cover the Culture of an organisation and evaluate how culture help in improving the effectiveness of the company through communication. Furthermore, It also analyse the role of culture in the employees motivative and how the culture is enhancing the performance of the company so that it is moving towards growth. MAIN BODY Identify the culture in line of the company Organisational culture is the way of behaving within the organisation as it is comprasis of shared beliefs and values formed by the leader so that each employees will function in the specific direction by knowing their perceptions, understanding and behaviours. It helps the company to form the common guidelines so that each employees will move in the same path with the consideration of achieving the common goal. In context to Asda, The culture of the company can be identified by applying the Handy's culture model that is explain as follows: This model is developed by the Charles Handy in which there are four kinds of culture is explained that an organisation is following at their workplace. These culture is described below: ï‚·Power:It is the type of culture, where the power is given in the hands of few people who have the authority to take decision and can implement the major change in the operational activities.Thesepeoplefurtherdelegatethedutiesandresponsibilitiestotheir subordinates on the basis of their job profile so that each activity of the company can be done in an effective manner. Employees have to follow the instruction of the senior in an
appropriate manner they can not make any change in the process or task. There may be chances of partiality among the employees by their seniors. ï‚·Task:An organisation which is working in a team and forming the team to perform the various task in an appropriate manner by solving the critical problem that formed a task culture(Tourais and Videira, 2019).Type of person having common skills will formed the effective team and coordinate between among so that each teammates is aware about their roles and responsibilities and perform their task in a systematic manner. ï‚·Person:In this type of culture, employees are the main aspect of the business as they make feel that they are important part of an organisation and as it is responsible for completing the task in an predefined manner with the considering of achieving the business goal. In such culture, employees work for the sake of self development as well as the development of the company. ï‚·Role:An employees are delegated with the duties and responsibilities on the basis of employee's interest, skills and knowledge so that task can be done in an effective manner with the consideration of achieving business goal. In this culture, employees are willing to accept the various challenges and give their best to crack the task in an appropriate manner and also accountable to their senior regarding their work. From theabovediscussion,Itisanalysedthatcultureplayan importantrolein establishing the authority and accountability within the organisation. Asda is using the power culture to delegate their employees so that each employee will complete their task in an appropriate manner without cross questioning their leader or manager as they focus on honesty, integrity and transparency so that strict code of conduct can be establish within the organisation. How culture improves organisational effectiveness with a focus on communication The organisational culture plays a significance role in enhancing the effectiveness of the organisation by improving and conducting the various task that leads to motivate an employees sothattheycangivetheirbestinattaintheorganisationalgoalinanpredefined manner(Teimouri, Sarand and Hosseini, 2017).The culture of the company is set by the leader who delegate the various role and responsibilities their subordinates so that they are know with their task-to-do and complete them with in a set time frame. Positive culture will leads to enhance the productivity and performance of the employees and negative culture will leads slow down the overall performance of the business.

This will also help in retention of the employees by having a say in the workplace.ï‚·Effective communication between top management and employees-There must be effective communication among the employees and their top level management so that they are know with the authorities and duties and work in an same manner with the consideration of achieving the organisational goal(Onumo, Cullen and Awan, 2018).It gives the clarity to the employees and the leader that what are the task that have to be
complete with the set time frame. It gives the vision for further actions. Manger must delegate the duties on the basis of employee performance and their interest. Hence, It can be said that effective communication may leads to smooth running of an business enterprises and also help in getting the running done with in the set time frame and cultureplayanimportantroleinbuildingthehealthyworkingenvironmentwithinthe organisation. Motivation is the process of influencing the other person so that they can enhance their productivity and performance so that they can contribute in achieving the organisational goal. Culture of an organisation plays an important role in motivating the employees as it provide the transparency and honesty to the among the employees(Ogunkuade, 2016).A healthy culture will reflect the performance of the employees where they feel safe and influence themselves in order to attain the specific goal. Asda can create the good working environment by establishing the healthy culture so that employees will work more effectively with the consideration of achieving the organisational goal. Asda is using the Maslow's hierarchy need theory in which It is suggested that there are some needs of the individual that needs to be fulfilled so that they can work effectively in achieving their satisfaction. Culture of the company plays an important role in influence an employees for the better working. It is the pyramid of various needs that includesphysiological needs, safety needs, social needs, self esteem need and self actualisation need. It helps in getting the actual needs of the individual so that manager create the scenario that they will full-fill the needs of the employees in order to enhance their performance. For example, to full fill the physiological needs:An organisation can give the equal employment opportunities so that employees will work on the same scale and also helps in enhancing their performance so that will give their best in attaining the organisational goal. This helps in eliminating the discrimination from the workplace. In order to achieve the safety needs: The company can build the strong transparency at the workplace so that employees will get motivated in terms of security. This helps in
influencing the individual to complete their task with the dense of motivation by have the proper safety and security at the workplace. In order to achieve the social needs: Culture is the part of social need as it reflect the individual insights and behaviour so that they can help in meeting the social needs of the employees(Moller and Rothmann, 2019).For example, Company can give the training and development to the employees so hat they can learn new things in order to implement in their various business operations. This helps in getting the blue print of performing the various task by the employees so that they can enhance their performance and contribute in the earning the success of the company. CONCLUSION It is concluded from the above report that Organisational behaviour plays an important role in understanding the human behaviour that helps in motivating the employees for their effective working and contributing to the success of the company. Asda is following the power culture so that they delegate their employees with all the duties and responsibilities in order to accomplishment of the various task in an appropriate manner. Furthermore, Communication help in enhancing the effectiveness of the company by building influencing culture so that employees will get motivated in order to attain the organisational goal in nan appropriate manner. Culture of the company will help in contributing the growth of he company by retaining their employees and keeping mission at heat so that company will attain their desired growth.
