INTRODUCTIONBehaviour of an individual play a crucial role in context of its development same as theorganisation behaviour has toward its worker, consumer and other entities which should beappropriate. Organisational behaviour refer to the study of behaviour of individual or groupwithin the company (Vasu, Stewart and Garson, 2017). This aid enterprise in gainingdevelopment as well as performance of their individuals. BBC is oldest British publicbroadcasting company that air news in more than 28 languages. The purpose of this assignmentis to impact of culture and policies of BBC on behaviours and performance of their working teamas well as analyse theories and techniques of motivation which helps in achieving goals. It willstudy difference between effective and ineffective teams along with philosophies and concepts ofit. TASK 1P1 Organisation's culture and policies influence on individual's and Team behaviourThe organisation refer to a group of people who administrate and coordinate specificobjectives and goals. Organisational behaviour refer to the manner of interaction andcommunication of people and how it influence the environment. The person who perform, in anorganisation's training and induction are also given some parameters which is set according tothe values and structure of enterprise. An organisation's culture, values and power have animpact team, individual or performance of worker because if an employee perform inorganisation weather as team or sole work, the policies and structure of company influence theways and outcome of worker's performance. a)Culture InfluenceA organisational culture create a different recognition of organisation among consumerand society which impact on it hugely (Morgeson And et. al., 2013). Management ofmaintenance of culture is required for a company to strengthen goodwill as well as earn thecreditability of enterprise among consumers. If workers feel better and more comfortable inworking environment, it directly and indirectly impact on productivity and operations ofenterprise whereas worse administration can lead to complex situation and fall of company.

After the emergences of strong competitors of BBC, such as Hall and Savile, thecompany found out the weak regulation and policies of organisation and faced a great fall inmarket share and positioning of organisation. This was observed that there are serious falling ofcompany which is because of not proper administration of employee and representation of theirthoughts and opinions which was not according to culture of respected company. It is requiredfor organisation to evaluate their culture and structure which could have been done with thehelps of these theories i.e. alternative cultural model and Handy's Cultural typology (Restubogand et. al., 2011). In this report, Handy's concept is being analyse in context of enterprise forevaluating its earlier culture which have been classified into these:Role: According to this, worker performance and work can be determined by the role ofculture in order to suit according to their skills and abilities. BBC had included a diversityin workplace in era of women equity to support their growth and role in development ofsociety which was one of their best technique. Even the fist women their hired was IsabelShields who was personal secretory of Reith, former of BBC in 1923. The companyprovided opportunities to worker to grow and develop in the evolving technological andindustrial world. This is how BBC have developed their employee loyalty and potential. Power: Culture of organisation have wide role in catering power in organisation. BBCbelieved through the presentation of each employee and listening their perspective,enterprise can reach to the heights of success. They understood power of single workerand form as well as took company so far. Task: According to this point view, it is said that the organization should allot specifictask to particular person according to their skills and interest in order to get maximumresults out of entire process. BBC is oldest and one of largest broadcasting company in allover the world which have catered the culture too far with the help of strong and effectiveculture and strategies. Enterprise believes that the work should assigned in proper mannerunderstanding the views and priorities of employee first. Reith believed that every personshould be give equal task and which they should perform in effective way. Person: Hardy explained culture as the major need of organisation which determine thetype of worker, their performance and limitation in which the perform perform. He statedit as a culture “if a person accept this culture form, they work worth purpose of earningmoney instead of working innovatively. ”
