Introduction
The essay will demonstrate about the need for managing a good organisational
structure and to ensure accomplishment of business goals and objectives with ease and
effectiveness. The consideration of All Seasons, which is a clothing business, in this topic
defines the various sustainable approaches undertaken to facilitate the production process and
at the same time, prevent the ecological harm to the environment too. The topic will also
present us an idea about the various resources along with use of management theories to
ensure meeting the business goals and attain higher profit level along with competitive
advantage too.
Importance of a good organisational structure
The Management of a good organisational structure would allow for managing the
various functions and processes along with the establishment of relationships between them
to ensure attainment of business goals and objectives with ease and effectiveness. From the
case study, it can be understood that All Seasons is a major manufacturer and producer of
fine woollen knitwear with an annual turnover of more than $70 million annually. The
company has focused on the management of quality controls and business operations to
prevent occurrence of negative impact on the environment and at the same time, ensured
management of supply chains to make sure that the wool does not get contaminated with
other types of wool (Foss, Woll and Moilanen 2013). This would also facilitate the
management of various processes and functions associated with the cleaning aspects,
spinning activities, colouring, machining, design and final production of clothing products
that do not create any sort of ecological harm or affect the environment negatively. The
organisational structure management also shapes the way the resources are managed along

with the processes, which can assist the business organisation to control its business functions
and processes effectively too (Maduenyi et al. 2015).
Resources needed by the organisation
There are different types of resources that are needed to be supplied to the
organisation named All Seasons to ensure growth and development, furthermore, make the
business flourish by remaining up to date with the latest trends within the clothing industry of
Australia. The various sourcing activities along with the manufacturing products must be
assessed and reviewed as well for drawing inspiration from the clothing designers and even
prioritise on the development of a list consisting of the various resources to be used by the
organisation for meeting the requirements efficiently (Iyamu and Mphahlele 2014).
Considering the fact that the management of resources is critical to the success of any
business and for the same, the clothing business needs sufficient amount of resources
including financial resources, human resources, Information technology system and resources
along with the production resources and natural resources that are required to maintain steady
production at All Seasons. The most important resources are the financial resources, which
could be managed with the help of funding and investments done by the shareholders or
investors for the purpose of improving the production process along with facilitating the
design structure through manufacturing and shipping (Plugge and Bouwman 2013). While
entering the international market, the financial resources could also be acquired with the help
of loans and lines of credit that should be granted from the financial institutions, private
investors and also by the Government of Australia and regulatory bodies too.
It could be found from the case study that the company possess only 70 staffs who are
associated with the process of production ranging from the manufacturing and shipping
processes. Due to this, the marketing and sales team consist of lesser numbers of employees,
which could further affect the successful management of business functions and processes
