containing three top most rated global retailing firms which are Tesco, WM Morrison and
Sainsbury; all of them are operating throughout the world including UK as well. The key
characteristics of all these organisations would be included and how would they putting their
philosophies into practice.

Tesco Plc-
This is the highest grossing British multinational supermarket which is trading as Tesco
and having its headquarters in England UK but is operating throughout the world. Tesco is third
largest retailing company of world as according to amount of profits in this global retailing
sector and as according to revenue it is 9th largest. While in UK itself it is having market share of
about 28.4% which define company as the market leader into UK retail sector.
Key characteristics-
At the end of year 2015-16, Tesco was having about 4,60,000, 60,000 employees who are
been associated with the company.
