Organizational Behavior Why does the field of organizational behavior draw on so many different disciplines? There are various different disciplines related to organizational behavior. The internal and external challenges are concerned with leaders and organizational behavior. The challenges are: Changing diversity of the workforce, the demand of the customers is enhancing and also there is the change in the level of competition. The disciplines of organizational behavior are also relatedto the understanding and managing the behavior of an individual. The performance of an individual is taken into consideration. To understand the behavior of an individual proper management should be offered. It includes rewards, stress and also the motivation level of the individual. Next is group behavior that gives direct impact on the organizational performance and also affects the employee's day to day operations (Levine, Thompson & Messick, 2013). To conduct the activities the managers should understand the formal pattern of the activities and alsothe activities that are conducted in various departments. The change can be effectively analyzed when the business consists of technology, demographics and new products. For conducting the change in a speedy way the psychological contract is taken into consideration. It is an agreement that is unwritten between the employee and the organization. The physical ability and actions of an individual are considered to accept the change in the organization (Burke, 2017). Organizational Culture is a difficult concept to grasp. What does research in the text and outside the text tell us organizational culture is?Organizational culture consists of the shared values, beliefs and the expectations that are influenced by taking into consideration individuals, groups and the organizational processes. It isalso related to the performance level of the people and how they dress in the organization. The culture enhances the stability to work in an effective manner. If the more employees of the organization share and consider the values, then the stronger culture is build and the direct impact will be given on the behavior. It is evaluated that to create an effective organizational culture it is difficult to enhance the core values. The values that are imposed on an individual give negative outcome. It creates confusion, irritation an also the cultures take time to evolve
