Group
A group is a number of people who work together (Bhasin, 2021). They have individual goals
that they work towards collectively. While groups work toward specific goals, they have a
related interest or an identity that unites them. While groups work toward specific goals, they
have a related interest or an identity that unites them. Groups can be formal or informal. Formal
groups are created to achieve specific organizational goals. Informal groups are based more on
the agreement and personal relationships of group members than on defined role relationships.
Team
A team is a number of people who work together to accomplish a shared purpose or goal (Asana,
2021). Teams work together to solve problems, create new products, and other functions such as
aligning passions and purpose. There are a few different types of teams, including problem-
solving team, self-managed work team, cross-functional team and virtual team.
Our type of group was tight-knit, friendly and cohesive. Our team shared the same vision and
goals. Individuals who contributed all of their information, likes, and attributes helped shape us,
and we benefited from close group communication. When we worked as a team, the team
members were quite motivated and completed our assignments on time.
Team development model
Forming - Our team is comprised of seven members from the same class, but this is the first
time we are working as a team. First of all, based on our leadership style, we chose a leader who
can manage the team and understand how to make strategic decisions for the team. After the
selection of a leader, he assigned and drew up a schedule to all the members for group work. It is
difficult for a leader to assign responsibility to each team member and manage the team. Specific
elements of teamwork are also completed by team members on time.

Storming - Members vigorously debate their views at this moment, taking the opportunity to
stand out and be noticed by their colleagues. At this stage there is usually disagreement and
dissatisfaction. The leader listens carefully to each member's ideas and guides those who are
unclear on how to proceed. We discuss the issues thoroughly and make sure there are no
differences of opinion between us. Leaders can help teams navigate the storm phase by
developing a strategy to control team member competition, improve communication, and keep
projects on track.
Norming - There was no competition as we figured out how to reach our goals, and our team
responsibilities allowed us to work together. We decided to proceed carefully and slowly as a
group while we were on the trail. Rather than doing their own work in a team, they tend to help
each other with challenging parts of the workload. We learn from each other's ideas and weigh
criticism as we move toward our goals.
Performing - At this point, the members must carry out the task assigned by each leader. There
was a certain degree of cooperation and trust among the members. Despite the fact that
difficulties developed, we were able to resolve them without affecting schedule or progress.
Adjourning - We talked to our team about people with disabilities, how we completed the
project and how we could improve future projects.
Team Behaviours
Our team consists of seven people. We are me, katy, sy, nan, lim, su and shoon and we all have
unique personalities. I am an introvert but I have an active personality. I took the team's
suggestions and ideas from the leader and anyone else and united them all into the project. Lim
was a leader in our team, creating everything and listing everyone's suggestions. She also had
extreme leadership skills. She was also a perfectionist, making sure that team work was
completed accurately on schedule. Katy and Nan had a balanced personality as they helped keep
things in order in our group. When there was disagreement within the group, they gave advice.
Su, SY and Shoon were very patient with all the members and took all the responsibilities of the
group. They would constantly check back with the team if there were any errors or conflicts.

Types of behaviors
At work, Teamwork is really important, so we are encouraged to work as a team. In fact, an
organization is a large group of people who are all connected. Employees and departments must
work together to achieve corporate goals. Our group has common interests, our team exhibited
good behavior as we came together with a common goal and kindness towards each other. We
actively encouraged each other throughout the group process. Even if we have done something
wrong or made a mistake. We choose to think positively.
Team role
Lim was a motivator and a leader who helped the team move forward. She always tries to solve
all the conflicts of the group. In addition, she was concerned about getting things done on time
and watched over all of us to make sure we did our jobs. I, Katy and Nan carefully evaluate the
collected materials to work as a team to ensure there are no errors. Su and SY double-checked
the team's work and made sure there were no conflicts.
Conflicts and Problem solving
While there were no major problems during the preparation of the project, we did have a few
disagreements. Our leader encouraged us to discuss our opinion about it and express our views
openly so that there are no differences of opinion among the group.
Leadership style
A leader is someone who makes sure their team has the support and tools to achieve their
goals(Waters, 2021). Our leader was a good leader because she set a clear vision for the group
and allowed the group to have a democratically supportive leadership style. She was
authoritative, collaborative, and guides the team as an encouragement. The first function was to
show team performance when planning the work needed to achieve the team's goals. She was
willing to clarify anything we didn't understand about the project. She managed and resolved all
the disagreements of the members and provided the best solutions.
Impact of individual behavior on team performance
Although our leader Lim is a specialist, we encouraged her without blaming her for worrying if
the project wasn't completed on time or if certain parts were missing. All of the group efforts
were assisted by myself, Shoon and Nan,who always encouraged and supported all the team

Influence of group behavior on individual motivation and behavior
Because we have a positive and supportive attitude as a team, we are able to run our processes
more quickly and smoothly, and critical parts are not left out. Some of the members were initially
apprehensive about performing in front of a large audience, so being in a group could help us
improve, but after joining us, they gained confidence as we encouraged them to have fun every
time. Now we can get it done without delay because we can happily present it in front of an
audience. It taught us how to correct our negative habits instead of being criticized. Positive
group behavior always motivates and helps individuals improve their behavior.
